I was waiting for Choi Ji Woo next work after Twenty again. seems interesting.
If you liked her in Twenty Again, you will like her here. She is more fierce and independent here but she still reminds me of her character in Twenty Again. The story is great! :)
I mean, I get it. The competition is intense in the job market but I couldn't believe they outcast him and were all pushing his chair and stuff when they were leaving the room after the VIP bodyguard meeting. That was so immature and silly. Haha.
This is wonderful. The male lead is hilarious! And so sad to hear about Ji Soo's surgery and script changes. But health comes first for sure. Hope he recovers soon <3
I love the characters here. There is so much layering and complexities to each character. Yoo Jin is the most interesting to me. Yoo Jin is an evil woman but god knows she suffers. You just feel it all the time. The President-to-be is a cheater but he cares about his daughter. Je Ha is a force to be reckoned with but then he is so lonely, he gets easily attached to everyone he meets. And then there's Anna wearing all her emotions on her sleeve, just waiting to explode and burn down everything.
It's just been 2 episodes and I am already so invested in every character.
How can people say IU is a bad actress? I cried a river during her scenes in ep 11. Especially when she tells the court lady that she's ready to run away with her. My heart broke into a million pieces when she said that although she wanted to survive, she never wanted someone else to die in her place. And her scenes with Wang So. I was a mess after ep 11. We can feel how Hae Soo continues to become more and more entangled in this world. She has had some pretty scarring experiences for someone from 21st century. Total abuse of human rights in every episode.
which one is better, this drama or moonlight drawn by clouds?
I think if you're looking for something light and sweet, MDBC is the best choice. But on a personal level, I love Moon Lovers much more because it keeps you absolutely engaged and you can't skip even a single scene. Haven't loved a historical drama this much since Empress Ki. To me MDBC feels a bit like been-there-done-that. Not in a bad way because the acting is great.
At the end of the day, it all depends on what you're in the mood for. Both dramas are worth the watch :)
