I have a feeling the father is dead after all. They showed a skull lying around at the end of ep 2 when the older brother says "the prosecution period is over". I'm really hoping the older brother doesn't go out to avenge his father and doesn't become a criminal in the process. Hope the brothers unite again and have their own happy ending.

I wonder how things would've turned out if Ta Hwan had not betrayed Seung Nyang in episode 6...
El Temur would've probably killed Ta Hwan and blamed Goryeo for the death. Wang Yu and Nyang would've run away and lived as poor peasants in a small but happy home and their son would have received the love he most genuinely deserved. But I like the real drama more than my alternate plot line. lol.
