I LOVE how this drama didn't exaggerate the romance at all. Most of the dramas tend to add heavy conflicts once the leads get together. Thankfully this drama didn't take the same route. It felt so good to see our leads just enjoying their cute couple moments while working, eating and helping others.

Why are people calling this his comeback drama? He did Big Mouth and Decibel (a movie) after returning from the…
Because he took a 3 years break after Big Mouth and Decibel.

May I know in which drama LJS was a chaebol?
Oh that’s okay. I’ve seen almost all of his dramas, but I’ve never seen him play a chaebol, so I got confused after seeing your comment. I thought maybe I missed something. I really hope he plays a chaebol character someday!

Okay so here's an honest breakdown. Law and the City definitely didn’t turn out the way I expected. I thought LJS would choose an intense suspenseful drama for his comeback since almost all of his past works have been like that (e.g. W Two Worlds, Big Mouth). But it turns out he chose a healing drama like Romance Is a Bonus Book instead. The first two episodes were a big letdown for me. But starting from episode 3, this show really picked up. And right now, I’m loving it a lot. I'm even surprised how much this show reminds me of Romance is a bonus book. The friendship, the work place vibe, and even the osts, they remind me of Romance is a bonus book. Law and the City is not a show for everyone, but I think those who like it, will truly treasure it.

4 episodes in and I can't stand the female prosecutor. She is just too annoying. Instead of considering various possibilities, she keeps pinning all the blame on the male prosecutor.

Wow the comments are so divided... it’s like the North and South Pole lol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I feel like this drama is really a hit-or-miss. Those who loved it, really loved it. And those who didn’t, absolutely couldn’t stand it.

Why do I feel like Chang Won will end up becoming a prosecutor by the end of this drama? Bro really hates the way prosecutor works and he has been criticizing prosecutor's work ethics for a while now πŸ˜βœ‹

I loved this version. Korean dramas tend to overdramatise a lot, which is less suited for this type of story/plot…
Lmao same. I also lowered my rating for korean version from 10 to 9. Because giving both version 10 didn't sit right with me. JP version was definitely better.
