A lot of people are criticizing the lack of romance but I never did see this as a romance drama... I really just love how independent and strong He Weifang is and that's what I'm enjoying till now... And love how Jiang changyang stands beside her regardless of everything

And they'll get together in 18th episode, it's a favorite episode in cdrama world when most couples get together... In this drama's defense though, I never really saw it as a very romantic drama, rather I was touched about Mudan's growth and now that she's been recognized by the emperor it's the best... But even after getting so much recognition she's still getting so much into trouble, classic story dragging elements lmfao 🤣😆

Can't believe the rating... It's such a beautiful drama in every way... Both the leads are so spectacular, especially Namgoong Min, he's just so breathtaking and the dialogues are just so heart wrenching. Everything is so lovely, even the Osts are love 💕
