Just finished watching S5, really enjoyed it. There are actually a few cute couples, lovely. - MIna Sue was annoying haha. Sometimes I could somehow justify here actions, but overall looks like she had some unheald trauma? Idk, I'm not a psychologist ofc, just thinking out loud - I liked Min Gee so much, happy for them. Have a bit of a crush on her haha - Go Eun and this whole love square. I feel ike all of them acted too much and too weird at some point. Like, telling her how cute and beautiful she is every 5 seconds... bro. Then I-geon did his thing, so I understand why she chose Sung Min in the end.
Anyway, there were many genuinely good people, ofc you will not click with everyone. I feel like Min Gee and Seung-il have the best chance to be in a successful relationship. Maybe Joo-young & Jae-jin too? Will see, starting watching reunion now :D
I'm only on 4th episode, but feels like people in this season are more... natural? I don't know, I enjoy it more than previous ones so far. Also, is it only me, or people in general can't make good very first impressions? lol
Alright, a couple of thought after finally finishing last episode. In general, I enjoyed it. I liked, that it's more natural and authentic than Single's Inferno.
1. Most of the guys were boring and weird lol. It wasn't surprising, that most of the girls were chasing after Jeong-Mok. The only thing, he got probably overwhelmed after getting so much more attention than usual, which resulted in heartbreak for Yi Do. 2. I'm happy for Ji-yeon and Jeong-mok, even if they broke up soon after. 3. Ji-su is very emotionally intelligent. She doesn't want to hurt anyone and think waaay ahead. That's not that common nowadays. 4. In general, whole interaction between Ji-su, Seung-li and Hyun-kyu was weird AF lol 5. We obviously didn't see the whole picture and every interaction during that week on Jeju, especially from, let's call it, less popular contestants, but I feel for most of the girls the whole experience will be just a funny story for friends meetings lmao
It was probably the most realistic scenario. Was I expecting something more, hmm… shocking? Yeah, maybe. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. Sometimes, It's good to finish the show with some things unsaid, like in Extracurricular. Perhaps that's why I enjoyed that show so much. Anyway, the whole thing makes sense, so I'll not complain.
One thing that bothers me… I know it was probably heat of the moment, but did they really not click the button in the final stage? Like, I was screaming in front of the screen to push that damn button. Also, IMO there's not much said about what happened to the entire place after. Coast guard arrived on the scene, there was some investigation etc. How it all end up? Even some scene saying, that there's not much evidence or something would be cool. I feel like it was just omitted like nothing has happened.
Boring and too long. For most of the time, there was nothing happening, I'm actually surprised I even finished it. It had its moments, I liked psychological side of the whole story, but it's not worth it.
It wasn't the best season, that's for sure, but wasn't that bad:
1. This whole drama with Si-an and guys chasing after her was so boooring. I didn't know who she will pick and didn't really care about it in the end. 2. Seems like, because Si-an think going on, we barely got any screen time of Hey-jin & Jong-hoon. Shame, he seemd very focused on her. 3. I feel soooo bad for You-jin. She's so bright and cheerful human being. I've fallen in love with her. 4. I also feel kind of bad for Min-seol. She seems to have fallen for him a bit too much. Is it just me, or it looked like her first love? Idk 5. Ji-yeon & Tae-hwan thing was awkward lol Idk, completely didn't feel the vibe. 6. I'm happy for A-rin & Dong-ho. Seems like they can actually date seriously after the show. Fingers crossed for them.
Overall, I have a feeling, that it doesn't pay off to be a 'nice guy' lol And it goes both for girls and boys. Producer focused too much on one thing going on, that's for sure. Also, I don't think it's the best idea to put additional people in the middle. Sure, it's kind of entertaining for viewers, but doesn't really benefit the show. Anyway, looking forward for next season
This whole Si-an thing is tiring and boring. I'm not saying, they are bad people, but Si-an and Jun-seo just doesn't fit together for me. So far, in this season, You-jin and Theo are the most fun and cheerful people out there.
After watching ep 9, I feel like it's the best and the worst season at the same time. Where to even begin with:
1. Watching Si-an and Jun-seo in paradise was painful. I felt probably more bored and confused than them. I felt like Jun-seo is probably a bit 'special' and didn't like his vibe, but idk what the hell happened here. 2. The same goes for Tae-hwan. Idk even what to say... 3. You-jin is such a sweetie and cheerful girl, absolutely love her 4. Dong-ho, please, please, decide what you want. Both A-rin and Hae-lin were really clear about their feelings, and you don't know what to do. You can better than that. 5. Hey-jin surprised us with that a bit. Appreciate honesty tho. The way, he made Ki-ha blushed was so sweet. Feels like genuine nice guy (or at least at first glance) 6. Min-seol - super cute, love her mood. Didn't like her vibe at first, but now she seems more just laughing at this whole bullshit. 7. Theo - I feel bad for this guy. Please, don't chase after Si-an.
Overall, paradise thread was literally most of the episode and was soooo boring. On behalf of every men - girls, not every guy is so boring and indecisive like that :D
I wonder how many guys are watching this type of show :D Anyway, my thoughts after ep. 8:
1. Si-an & Jeong-su - I feel like they are both 'victims' of too much attention :P Good people, but struggling with own emotions. 2. A-rin & Dong-ho - cute couple, nothing less, nothing more :D 3. You-jin & Hey-jin - I feel sorry for them. Every guy is chasing after Si-an and they are left alone, shame. Especially You-jin has sooo much positive energy and vibe. 4. Theo - genuine guy, expressed his feelings straight. I feel kind of bad for him, I'd not chase after Si-an, but respect to him for not being all over the place. 5. Jun-seo - I didn't really like his vibe, but also respect for him, for being straight to the point. 6. Tae-hwan - idk, didn't like vibe :P but that's purely on me I guess :D
Overall can't wait for next episodes and agree with comments, that they pay too much attention to Si-an.
