Fell flat fast
The premise of the story sounded interesting at first. Unfortunately, after watching the whole series, the flaws became more evident.
I love Namkoong Min but this was definitely not one of his great dramas. For the first few episodes, I was riveted and curious as to why the kidnapping happened. It looked like Nam was the likely mastermind, but then came a twist about how this same modus happened before to a former detective. This was the part that just added several unnecessary episodes to the story.
If you have finished this series as well, you would likely agree that that could have been removed and saved the production some budget...
If I were to describe this, I would say it was a messy drama....
