If there's sexual harassment within the first five minutes, it's not worth watching. Here it takes exactly four minutes and thirty seconds so I am gonna bid adieu.
Must make it clear, if there's sexual harassment without accountability and later disguised as love/affection, it's not worth anyone's time.
The first time I watched it, I didn't think much of it. And then within a span of few months, I think I have watched ot atleast five times. Didn't even realise when it grew on me so much. One of my most favourite dramas now.
She uses the term "forced" but details more of what would be considered manipulation. She stated he told her that…
Given the type of contracts they have, it doesn't seem illogical to me. Going from the woman's statement though, I still feel this isn't other people's headache. Everyone is allowed to not wanting children under legal obligations, or falling out of a relationship after promising a happy ending. But also feels like there's a lot bein left unsaid here.
I am still at a loss about what happened. He was in a relationship, his ex-partner got pregnant, she had an abortion, and then they broke up - that's all I got.
So was she forced to have a physical relationship with him? Because that would be rape and needs to be severely dealt with. But if it was with mutual consent, I don't see a problem.
Was she forced to have the abortion? If it's a mutual decision, then I fail to see the problem again. But it's still murky considering what might have happened, how much responsibility they were in for, etc. Bringing a child in this world is never a wise decision when the parents aren't on the same page. If she was forced to have it, that's disgusting. If she was forced to have it by promising marriage, that's worse.
Two adults breaking up a relationship is the most natural thing on earth. Everyone goes into a relationship imagining forever, but that can always change with or without reason. It's not necessary both have to fall out of love or decide to end it. One person wanting to do it is sometimes valid enough reason to end it. Who is to gain from dragging dead weight?
But in all that - except if there was rape, physical and mental coercion, forced abortion - nothing seems to be of public concern. So what am I missing here?
Everyone if free to live their lives and make their share of mistakes. We cannot make someone god one day and put them on a pedestal going by their onscreen persona and drag them to mud the other day realising they are mere mortals. It shouldn't work that way. Star/idol worship is one of the most toxic thing that exists in the asian countries and that needs to stop immediately. But alongside that, we also need to do so much better legally to provide safety and justice to victims (women specifically).
This would have been so great as a 10 episode drama. It had all the elements of a good one, but then just got dragged for nothing. Kim Dong Wook is great though
I am sure I will enjoy this review more than the drama. I haven't watched the drama other than bits and pieces on YouTube and I think I really don't need to watch it anymore. This review is 10/10 though 😂
This show (16 episode version) completely redeemed itself in the last four episodes. It was such a trainwreck before that, feels like someone different wrote the last four episodes
I found Morgan to be toxic sometimes - he continually pushed for his ideals and values to be reflected and was…
I don't disagree. He crossed boundaries many times to the extent of stalking even. But Ta Mi would also be in and out of the relationship as she wished. That's abuse.
Is it ever explained what was the actual conversation between Kang Cheol and the FL in the hospital, which the…
I agree. That but was a little hazy. The condo talk was between Kang Cheol and his assistant. Because that conversation doesn't make any sense in the other context.
Where was this all my life? Well, since 2015. Why more people don't talk about this drama? This is just so good! I am sad it ended. Don't care how dragged out the misunderstandings are, i loved them all in their messiness. 10/10 from me
Cried my eyes out at 4 in the morning watching this. And all I can pray and hope for is ZZH gets his career back and gets out of this crazy shitstorm unscathed
Does anyone know why the flowers he received aren't displayed? He is listed as unranked and 0 flowers. At least…
I was wondering the same thing. I can see the list of people who have sent him flowers but then they don't show against his name. Hope the admins will tell us
Thanks for the info. I screenshotted and tweeted pic to say to not engage with this person.
Holy hell! This goes from bizzare to insane real fast. While disengaging with anyone accused of sexual harassment is only fair, taking down all their work is still extreme because it's not just their work. There are problems with idol culture but as an outsider, I feel the steps taken to regulate that is way more problematic. I don't mean to be offensive, I know every culture is different, has different yardstick to measure things, and take apt actions but I do really feel bad for ZZH.
Read this article which took my respect for the producers to another level altogether. It's not easy to stick to source material while making a drama but the team has not only done that exceptionally well, they did it while fighting for human dignity and rights. Hats off really!

Why is it like this? Aren't they humans too? Why aren't they held to same standards? I mean they are doing their part in entertainment industry as entertainers, expecting them to be all-knowing ever-perfect Gods is just so unfair! Makes my blood boil really. Let humans be humans for god's sake!
