Can someone please tell me in which episode Park Hee Young finally learns a lesson to not mess with people? I can't stand her going on like this anymore
I didn't come out of the closet til I was 37 because I was terrified of the repercussions and more than a bit…
Oh thank you for writing your story. Hugs and love to you. As a cishet person, I can hardly even imagine how tough this might be. I came here to read the comments and I am utterly confused by the hatred people are showing Nagisa because I feel the worst for him. When he told Shun that he wanted to live with him but couldn't and broke up instead, my heart broke for him. The society has set up these imaginary boxes and forces everyone to chose one and fit in perfectly but nature doesn't make us that way. It's not easy to love who you love, and when the society disapproves, it becomes even tougher to love oneself. Nagisa suffered - yes, his wife became the unwitting victim of the circumstances - but he wasn't oblivious to that. Selfish? Coward? It's easy to put labels on people without walking in their shoes. He was selfish because he broke up with Shun? He wanted to fit in the box that others forced him into. Asking him to live Shun's life? That was of a recluse and miserable. Him deciding to divorce his wife? That's a good thing rather than being miserable together. Him coming back to Shun is selfish? He did that on a whim and he still loved and craved for him. I would rather he took a chance on love than went on his way to become a recluse and miserable. Because of the decision he took, four lives got a chance to be happy. Yes, they were momentary pain but they accepted and healed and ultimately lived better lives. What are people even complaining about really? The best part was when Nagisa acknowledged that he could be a better caregiver to their child because his wife took the pain of becoming the breadwinner, she sacrificed her time with her child to provide for them. That doesn't make her any less of a mother. I love this movie because it showed so many mirrors to the society. It's sad that people just refuse to look at it. Also, sorry for the rant on your comment. Couldn't help it.
Ummm. Real life is messy, the heart is complicated, we don't always get things right. Yeah he is a bit selfish…
Yes, exactly! I think Nagisa's behaviour can be easily explained. Not everyone is equally brave to go against the society. Like he told Shun, he wanted to say 'I want to live with you' but couldn't. Shun didn't have a great life either. He had to become a loner because of the comments he got based on a rumour from his college days. I won't call Nagisa selfish, he just wanted to be accepted because that felt like a easy way out. He tried and failed to be the society defined 'normal', realised a little too late maybe that it's not something he can truly be - not to himself atleast. Because the society is fucked up, they have a hard time. But I can't really blame Nagisa for the way he behaves.
A drama I needed so badly. I just love love love it. I know it's not for everyone but to me it's perfect. Maybe I won't be watching it again soon, maybe if I started it at any other time I wouldn't have even finished episode 1 but right at this moment I needed just this. I am just happy it exists.
I have no idea why this was made as a drama. Two 90 minute movies - one about the main leads and their doom- related story, and another romcom about the love triangle between the second leads - would have been perfect. Instead this 16 hour long snooze fest is just pointless.
Is Choe Chan Yi the younger brother of Nam Joon or something? I feel like they look exactly the same. I keep waiting for him to break character and break into a rap or something.
They murdered ballet here! Brutally murdered the dance form. But apart from that, ot was really really sad. No logic, hardly a story, just put people together and pray they become soulmates. I am all for gay love stories which aren't the unnecessary sad stories but this had nothing going on for them. I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads either. Also tell me something - would one really act that cool if a random person just starts living in their home? I would call the police, run away, and hide! Why does these people sell Stockholm Syndrome in the name of love? Seriously makes me crazy!
I agree with you on 3 of the 4. Voice had far too many plot holes to, and things that didn't make sense compared…
I find this conversation quite logical, so would like to request you both to suggest some good fast paced crime dramas with logically smart leads. I have been watching too many rom-coms, need a change of taste
Yes bae ta mi is quite toxic. But you can't expect a 17 yr fluffy, smiling , full of excitement child in her.…
Ummm...not be toxic in a relationship. You think just because she was betrayed by her work colleague, she has to be toxic in her personal relationship? Or you meant the opposite of toxic is a fluffy 17 year old? Also, if you read the ten words I have posted, nowhere I mentioned anything about her approach to work or professional relationships. So not sure what you are getting at here.
I liked it because I am a sucker for sweet romantic comedies. Hye ri is a delight throughout the drama, I would watch it just for her. And laughs were ample! I LOLed hard in every episode. The story has nothing new to offer, strong Twilight vibes in the second half. I finished every episode in 30 minutes with lots and lots of fast forwards. But I still enjoyed because if the sweetness of rom-coms are done right, even the most formulaic dramas also are watchable. But for anyone not into that genre, not sure how digestible it will be.
Came for Lee Sun Kyun, stated for the story. This drama is a gem through and through but CMJ is just insufferable. Not only because she is rude, but she is one of the most inconsiderate person ever. Her comments to Yun Jin when she was struggling with her family was extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate. It's hard to come across a FL that insufferable. But I admire her for her principles and hers is a very well written character nonetheless. Now, sincere question: How is Lee Sun Kyun so good in everything he does? Why isn't that man in every movie and drama? I know I am saying this as a head-over-heels fan, but even if I wasn't, I would have said the same thing.
