i'm still on the first episode, but the repetitive use of the "humans only use 10% of their brain" sentence…
true but at the time this was written that 10% myth was still pretty much not mainstream knowledge. I also hung up on that a little BUT it was so freaking good of an ending. There was not a lot of romance involved, but it had very important moments of camaraderie that I found totally endearing and believable.
I really like this drama, but it left me with a lot of questions about Japanese society: 1) Is family planning…
I used to wander around in dakar africa, las palmas de gran canarias and peru as well as California all the time before I turned 10. I spoke english french and Spanish passably well. but the world was a lot safer then.
the only thing about jdoramas is they get subbed so erratically, even the REALLY good ones. *sigh* I almost always wait until they are fully subbed before starting, I waited nearly two years for flowers for algernon and Welcome to Fortune-Telling Onmyo Shop.
Kim Woo Bin! Im Joo Hwan!! such a great first episode. It raised lots of questions and made me wonder whats the deal already. After all the characters were introduced I totally feel his diagnosis was actually for one other of those introduced and accidentally placed on him, but that is probably so much fans wishful thinking. GAH. I kind of wonder tho if that first scene was not a hint!! we will see. Loved all the characters SO much. Im Joo hwan was looking all sakamoto in his new look :) ( cool, cooler , coolest! stylish!! ref to an anime that just ended)
I heard some rough comments on Suzy's acting but I thought she did fine. It usually takes all the characters about three episodes to totally settle in. IJH and KWB looked settled but suzy looks a little nervous so far. I imagine I would feel the same way with all those sunbaes!!! and Oppas!!
I really want to watch this but in the previous dramas I watched, Park Shin Hye always acts the same way. Like…
I feel a totally new vibe from her acting here. I was never a fan nor an anti fan before, and I feel she is doing a decent job. Even in her small acting scenes she is more animated. instead of being the silent suffering type she is the strong survivor. I think she is pulling it off nicely which leads me to believe that a lot of her previous roles called for her to be just that, a silent sufferer
Idk this drama has started so well but now it’s getting so boring. They look like father and daughter so I don’t…
for that we have agreement except, that was the break she needed to get on her own two feet. as a plot tool it was super clumsy, but it was used properly.
For me one of his most heartbreaking roles was from Strongest Chil Woo. ( http://mydramalist.com/501-strongest-chil-woo ) in which he played an assassin with a heartrendingly sad back story and his eyes just filled with sadness. he was very powerful in that role.
this actor just makes me happy to watch his shows. he is very charismatic and fun. devilishly handsome, reminding me of errol flynn with his acting style ever so much.
I had mixed feelings all thru this drama but I watched it to the end, it def was better than some other dailies but it was not as good as say Sungkyunkwan Scandal. as dailies go tho, it was quite mild on the makjang... hehehehe.
edit: I really wish they had a lot more long dramas that were good, I really like one hour episodes and more than 50. so this drama was just a flash by really.
Oh My Stars, this was pretty good!! and I found an interview as well of them and it was as good as the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-NmpjVmL_c
the last part of that interview STOLE my heart forever I am pretty sure. these guys are really cuties and so funny.
disclaimer: asking a person their favorite drama is the same as asking what your favorite food is. that will change depending on what you are hungry for!! with that being said! here is my favorite drama of today:
It's ok, that's love
I really connected with the cast, it was wonderfully cast, with all my favorites like DO, Kwang Soo , Jo in Sung, Gong Hyo Jin and one of my all time favorites Dong Il. The development was exciting and intense at times. The story was new for k dramas. It had great chemistry. It was beautifully shot and edited. Bittersweet memories, sheer terror and sadness and hope. it had great romance too. I really loved that drama it left a very lasting impact on me.
This isn't an OMG drama, but it's very cute after the first episodes, it's quite enjoyable. I just don't understand…
it is not that hard to coordinate a decent wardrobe so this is basically one way they have to make sure we can see the class differences. silly isn't it?
