The cast seemed very aware of the anime and stayed in character. Goda was well cast, I love the other actors / actresses but they should have helped by choosing shorter folks or filming them in a way that helped highlight the size difference. It was a good movie but who ever did the adaptation has not watched the entire anime. HINT HINT.

they have like ep 1 -3 and then they stole bits of all other episodes in the wrong order and skipped the saran wrap kiss. GAH MY FAV PART and just kept ON and ON with the he thinks she loves his friend part. UGH. It would have been ok if I had not seen the anime. but it was already burned into my heart wasn't it? No big sister either. so they really just kept the misunderstanding going for 1hour 30 minutes and bammm then they let him know. So there were no awesome scenes of him in love. and they also included a group date like in the anime but instead of them being an item, they were still not there yet. So, it was pretty ragged.

Ah i am sorry. I just glossed over the synopsis. it is a lot like the Scrap Teacher, where four mysterious kids come and save the school. It just sounded so similar. I looked into it after you asked the name and found I was wrong. MY BAD!!!

I think it would have worked out if they had picked really small actors to work along side him. His best friend is as tall or taller than he is.. URG he should be at least a head shorter if not more.
edit : Suzuki is 186 sakaguchi is 183. OMG really?? like there is not ONE shorter actor than that? for real???

It was a good movie. it is def NOt the anime.

I did not mind the actors nor did I think the movie was bad. it was a HORRIBLE adaptation of the anime tho. It ignored the entire point which was his love until the last 15 minutes, but it should have been ALL about how he was while he had a girlfriend. or at least more than half the 1:44 length, not the last 15 minutes. URG. so they turned a really cool overly large guy in to mister desperado. GAH i was So fussy. It was liek some one totally missed the entire point and made it into a cliche we have seen it a million times pointless movie. *cries* I so loved the anime.

I am all excited,. I HOPE it is going to cover lots of Asia not just Korea??

eh at least they didn't have to die to get there from here. Sorry its canceled, but hopefully their popularity from this series will allow them to show up in non bl or other BL series. REALLY looking forward to keeping my eye on their professional development. Thanks for the heads up!!

the Japanese version of this was excellent. cannot wait to check this version out.

I have to say, the underlying currents in this drama are insanely well done. You might never realize what you have seen for a long time, or else it makes you get butterflies in your stomach right away. I felt like the entire drama moved one to understand in their very BONES:
humanity, human life is all about potential.
I also really enjoyed all the sensual tension. It was present between all four leading casts, all at once, or individually, or in any pairs combination. I loved that. I see that as falling into the category of potential. Procreation is the most basic potential. Even though the message took us beyond those basics it also allowed us the fun of them. LOLS i had a great time with this one.

Loved your acting in Platonic. I think that series is the new top of my list for ones I want to live out. I would take either role, main lead female or male. either one is perfect.

A little on the rose colored glasses side, but overall sweet and fun.

I really loved DO , Jeajoong ( protect the boss) and Henry's (both Oh My venus and Persevere) portrayals in dramas. MAN they were surprisingly good. The most fascinating for me was Do in it's okay, that's love. What a COOL part to get!! and he totally nailed it. I love all three and appreciate the fact they are so multi talented.

I cannot believe this one was hiding. it is probably the third best drama i have ever seen. I am not a fangirl either. I do like all the actors, but this was just amazingly subtle, perfectly cast and acted. awesome stuff.

I am so glad, as a fan of classical music that you were able to get some of those feels. I will never ever hear classical music without thinking if smoking hot kisses from Yoo Ah In!! YAY for the power of music.

I have never seen the anime, I have not read the manga etc. I really enjoyed this movie and its cast. crazy premise. tons of fun, lots of cgi, some even done well. very nice eye candy. great diversity in characters portrayed. def recommend it to any one enjoying the sci fi action genre.

He is really good. I would never have believed his age, I just saw him in The Monkey King 2 and he was looking VERY fine and acting wonderfully. he is pretty top notch isn't he? Has lovely expressive eyes too. Glad to join those supporting his efforts!!!

VERY awesome movie. I really REALLY enjoyed it. The filmography style is rich, costumes and sets are very top notch. Cast was kind of weird on the female side but the male roles, I really thought were very nicely picked. TONS of cgi, but every well done so it was all good. Dubbing is hard to find in MOST scenes.
