I was thinking of watching this bec I liked sungkyunkwan scandal, but reading the reviews and knowing there aren't any kisses, i think im gonna pass. i'm gonna keep looking, sooo many dramas out there.
Just a rant. I'm at episode 19, han-seo was being heroic and fighting his brother, but vc decided to waste time and untie FL, then attempt to flee with her, but... why???? they've got him 3 to 1, why couldn't ML stay and fight, see who gets the upperhand and then have a go at the villain, he's very good with h2h combat, he's bested han-seok before. why'd he suddenly make such an out of char move? wtf? to add more drama?? writers dropped the ball here.
i'm on ep11, came here to see if there are others who, like me, is hating on the older comic book writer who did bad on the FL in the past. but reading the comments here, seems like she's actually liked by a lot of ppl. i do hope her character gets better coz rn i really want to slap her every time i see her on the screen.
I decided to watch after confirmation that it is a HEA ending, but can someone answer me if there are a lot of sweet moments and real kisses between the leads?
Terrible subs in iqiyi. i liked the story and it has promise, seems like it's from a drama, but the execution and writing is very poor, so many plot holes. also, hate the ending. ML dies and FL gonna kill herself. always hate sad endings. glad this is a movie and not a drama.
i actually enjoyed it. the writing and editing i think could have been better. the plot was promising if they had more time to develop it. i think it should have been a drama instead.
Love xu kai and zhao lusi, but i think i'm gonna pass on this one. so glad i decided to read the comments. i was going to watch it because want to see xk and zls together, but the story is not something i can get behind. i would love to see both of them star in a drama together as main leads. they are both really popular right now, hope this can happen.
right, i think i get what you mean. he may have thought she made a fool of him by keeping him in the dark that's why he was so mad, though i agree that it was too much since it was the boss' idea to keep it a secret. i also didnt like that the FL was too submissive and always catering to the ML, but the ML did some groveling towards the end also. this was during my mark prin phase so i was able to muddle through, don't remember much anymore though.
let me just say that it's been a while since i've seen this and there has been a lot of dramas since then. i seem to recall that he's angry at her for all sorts of reasons, if you can be more specific, like what episode or scene, i'll try to give you an answer. until then, enjoy the drama.
This has become one of my favorites. No long plotting by the villains or too much conflict or draggy eps, just about the OTP and their romance. Absolutely loved it.
I'm at ep6 and I'm lost. Why is the FL trying to sabotage the ML? Why is she a traitor, selling confidential and sensitive information to the enemy? I mean it seems too much if it's all for Hammock, and it's really not working if she just wants the OW to leave the ML alone. Why is the criminal act not bothering her? I'm hoping all of this is an order from the ML's boss. Otherwise, I'm going to find it hard to root for her. First time I can't sympathize with a FL in a drama.
Took me 2 days to watch. It was cute and engaging. Loved that although it was short, they didn't skimp on the kisses and sweet scenes. I wasn't a fan of the ending because I felt bad for the emperor. So I'd like to think that somehow, the emperor found a way to get to the present and it was actually him holding the cake and would explain everything to the FL after the party and then HEA.
