Finally finished it. Didn't really want to watch it, but loved E.Love 1&2 that I just have to watch the two leads again. Chemistry is on point, and I generally skip over 2nd couple scenes, but I loved the 2nd couple, best 2nd couple ever! Didn't skip any of their scenes, I actually think they have a much better story line than the leads. Cried buckets, and I actually skipped a lot of the painful parts. I hated the finale though, I think Anna got off easy. Also, I think when the FL learned abt the switch, a much stronger emotion was called for, I mean that was the moment she lost her child, surely knowing that he/she died because of another person's malice generates some feeling of pain, or sadness or hatred? Also, I've seen 2 other versions but I really can't say which I liked the most.
Loved the story, especially the last episode. I didn't really care much for the ML, I thought he was too old for ZL, but he grew on me. I still wish he was someone younger though (like JCW, had to say that, kept thinking I would have really loved to see him here, rather than BR, w/c I haven't seen btw). Anyway, kudos to the writers, absolutely loved how they wrapped up the story, everything neat and tight.
Completely agree with you. Too late for me though, finished watching it. Don't even remember the story anymore. I have too much time in my hands. -sigh-
Im currently at episode 7 and I dont like that they made the male lead indecisive. The male lead in the korean…
I've seen both the taiwanese and korean versions and although I didn't find anything extraordinary with both, I find myself curious about this version. Like you, there were events in the story that I hated and wouldn't want to suffer through again, but there's this little part of me that really want to see this drama. I think it might be because Ive seen the Eternal Love 1 and 2 (and those I enjoyed) and want to see both the leads together again. I might just try the 1st few episodes and go from there. I'm already feeling a sense of foreboding just thinking about the story.
I'm in the middle of Eps 5 and I really can't bear watching her scene. I guessed 90% probability that she is not…
i think really stupid reason, honestly i wouldn't have been compelled to write my frustration here otherwise. she's angry because when he left for the states his dad followed him and while there his dad was killed by robbers, she blamed him for his dad's death. I mean really??? he's her child and was suffering too, he was young! also, throughout the story, he was the one trying to patch up their relationship while she didn't care, or maybe not enough. AND he's her only child too! she loved the museum more than her son! what kind of mother would be like that? she trusted her stupid brother more than him, her brother who hated her son (i think), more spoiler: she gave her brother all her shares, which meant the ML lost control of the museum. I just really thought it was frustrating, but well, in dramaland one must be prepared to suspend disbelief, i guess. I saw this a while ago, so apologies if there are errors, these are honestly what i remember. regardless of this, hope you enjoy the series. also, sorry if i have given you too much spoilers, i think i'm still venting. peace!
I'm on episode 5, the ML just lost a competition with who I'm assuming is a villain, I'm here looking for comments about the game, because I really feel that the game was rigged, like there's no way the ML could have been stumped with at least 2 of the wines while the other guy just breezed through everything, like there's no way he could best the ML when he doesn't have the lead's supersense and photographic memory, because if he did, he's the kind that would exploit the shit out of that, so there's no way he had those. anyway, i didnt find what i was looking for, but did go over some of the comments, and to be honest there's a lot that're disheartening, mainly those about the FL. now i'm kinda dreading succeeding episodes. anyhooo some comments did say story picks up after episode 5, so keeping my fingers crossed.
I’m a big fan of Allen and from the beginning, intimacy is vertebrae are from him lol. Like he rarely kisses…
i read somewhere that it's because he's married. whether he's the one who objects or his wife, i dunno. It's such a shame, the way he looks at the FL during sweet scenes, his expressions... he is so hot! there shd be actual lip kisses!
Loved it. Happy they didn't rush with anything, especially the ending. Loved everyone. I usually skip scenes a lot, especially those with just the minor characters, I didn't do it as much with this drama. You know how after you get to the end, you wish for more episodes to see how they are all doing? I want that for this show.
worst ending ever. i know it's an implied happy ending but still... to end the whole thing at that moment, just seems lazy to me. I thought Faith was bad, this is worse.
I am pretty sure that the one who gave the dagger was Prince Qi.
but hasn't she used the dagger on the prince already? or was that a different dagger? i thought she'd be carrying it around with her for protection. personally, i'd rather it be the prince than the villain.
Is this really that good? have seen a lot of off-the-chart comments that i'm seriously thinking of watching this. I've seen TMOPB though and didn't really care much for both their characters. Thought there's such a big age difference between the 2 actors that for some reason I really find to be... not okay. Can't fault them though coz dong hua's supposed to be reeeeally ancient. It's just the pair don't really sit well with me. I'll probly check the first 3 eps and see if I like it.
i see now what they meant about a shitty ending. definitely will have a 2nd season. just happy they didn't kill zhao ge and yi, that would have really sucked.
episode 29. i cant believe how cruel the mother was. does the writers really believe her reasoning makes sense?…
finished it. hate that they rushed the ending but found out there's a 2nd season. skipped a lot. didn't really care much for the 2nd and 3rd pairs, though they were ok. love the chemistry bet the leads. lots of kisses, and they were good too. would have given it 10/10 but because i skipped so much it just wouldn't be fair.
