If it wasn't for these two adorable cuties, it would have been a total failure! Such a waste of their talent and beautiful chemistry for this lacking story and writing...
Where is the happy-ending for that lovesick cute puppy, writer-nim???
Once again you gave us an article with excellent survey, analysis and interpretation, and a very interesting topic to debate! :) Before starting a new drama, I rely mainly on my personal preferences (genre, actors, screenwriter) and on comments and reviews of people with similar taste, rather than ratings. Liking or disliking a drama, thus rating it, is a very subjective matter and depends on many factors: genre, age, nationality, occupation, current state of mind, etc. For example, I usually find that there is a tendency to drop or rate lower romcom dramas for male viewers, historical or political dramas for young people, school dramas for mature viewers, anti-fans for whatever drama, and so on (I hope you see my point :D). Therefore, I rate the dramas and movies I see for my personal reference, with my own standards and according to the current state of my mind and mood. Not to impose my preferences and not to give critics lessons to anyone! When I don't find something attractive in a drama I don't even start it, when it disappoints me in a way I give a low rate/drop it, when I greatly enjoy it I give a high rate and I don't give a damn if I am considered as "worthless and biased", as someone stated in a previous comment!
Totally agree with you that the most important and interesting part of the drama is the father-daughter relationship and its development! … and I'm blatantly biased towards Jang Hyuk, like you! :D
I really enjoyed this, despite all the negative comments! Not the typical fluffy rom-com, but a more mature and realistic approach of relationships and problems, with proper characters' development, excellent acting from all main and support actors, not many clichés and annoying characters, and a satisfying closure. Special kudos to Lee Jung Eun as Woo Jin's mother, especially for the 1st part of the drama, and to Jang Seung Jo, who gave us another noticeable, solid performance next to a veteran actor (like in "Money Flower" with Jang Hyuk).
Kudos for your photos, gifs and HD recommendations! Especially the costumes and scenery photos were amazing! And, of course, your unique sense of humor... Nice job :) For me, "Faith" was the first HD I ever watched and "Rebel, Thief Who Stole the People" is the best HD ( probably watching "Six Flying Dragons" during this Christmas vacation)
I guess almost everyone at least once in their life have a crush on one of their teachers and it's OK, it's a phase they go through during their emotional and sexual awakening to adulthood. But when the teacher responds/encourages this immature crush to an affair, platonic or -even worse- sexual, it's legally and ethically a crime in every culture and society, with no excuses or exceptions whatsoever!
The role of a lifetime for Kim Jung Hyun!!! Cheon Soo Ho was one of the most tragic, painfully real characters I 've ever seen... He broke my heart into millions little pieces... I really hope he fully recovers and see him in a joyful new project soon!
Such a waste of their talent and beautiful chemistry for this lacking story and writing...

But it really is my pleasure to read your articles and I'm always anticipating them!
Keep up your excellent work! Hwaiting!
