True lolDunno why East Asia (Korea& China)still praises wars or showing the tragedy of it whilst people since…
I wouldn't judge any people or nation's pain and suffering due to any kind of war (is civil war harmless or less painful for a victim?) that easily if I were you... Moreover, it's a totally different story if you are the assailant or the victim...
I have to say that Hyun Jung is one of the most well-written best friends ever! No over-the-top jealousy over a guy or new friends, no hidden agentas, no taking advantage... A perfectly balanced character: warm, funny, supportive and badass - all totally on point!
Thank you and all the subbers out there! You have my utmost respect and admiration for your volunteer dedication on subbing during your precious free time! My life would be more stressful and less colourful without your hard work :)
Lol I like the two authors you mentioned (Kazuo Ichiguro and Cecilia Ahern) but I am vouching for another of their…
Totally agree with your choices! :) I know there is a 2016 j-drama adaptation of "Never Let Me Go", but I haven't watched it yet, 'cause when it comes to novels I am always hesitant to see them coming to life on screen... Indeed, our list of novels is endless...
Jane Austen's novels were the first I could also think of, esp. 'Pride and Prejudice' or 'Emma'! But I would also like to see a Korean drama adaptation of one of Joanne Harris' novels, like 'Chocolat', or E. M. Forster's novel 'Howards End' or Kazuo Ishiguro's novel 'Remainings of the Day', or Jojo Moyes's 'Me Before You' or one of Cecelia Ahern's novels, like 'Where Rainbows End'... I think I must stop here, my list would be endless... Such an interesting and intriguing topic! :)
I disagree. She didn't force anything on anyone. Yes she used it to her advantage and she later does realize the…
I totally agree with you that everyone have their own wounds to deal with (who in life doesn't, right?). But, how one copes with them depends on and reflects their character, life principles and maturity level. As I see it, she really forced herself multiple times -mainly for cohabitation- without asking, explaining or apologizing. She knowingly lied and hurt many people, both in past and present. But eventually, as you already mentioned, she starts to reflect on her actions when failure and loneliness hit her front door, and I also do hope that during the two remaining eps she will mature and grow as a person and use that clever mind of hers in a more productive way!
Again and again, what a selfish and vain person Seo Yeon is, always leeching off and blaming everyone! She really infuriates me in every single episode...
Both Hisashi (Sato Takeru) and Mai (Tsuchiya Tao) were wonderful!
