Such an underrated drama! Bae Doo Na and Seo Ji Suk were splendid at their roles and had beautiful chemistry! Halmeoni was superb, and the couple of Jin Ju & Eo Jin was the sweetest!
I actually just came back to dramaland a couple months ago after a long hiatus, and I noticed the same thing!…
You are absolutely right! Looking at the comments regarding airing dramas, indeed female leads receive the most negative criticism, even before the dramas start! Perhaps there are some very hungry fan-girl 'animals' among us that want to tear these young/new actresses to pieces! I guess everyone is meant to go through this phase once in a while in their lives...
I have to admit that, putting adaptation relevance, plot, editing, characters, acting etc... aside, a very well-hidden fan-girl inside me has been awaken!!! Woo Do Hwan, yay!
When they attempt to exercise (ep.04+10) and compete each other, they are hilarious! It seems that when their Master is closer to their age they are more relaxed, so they enjoy themselves better, so the outcome is more realistic and funny!
Can you please STOP calling people on this board ignorant just because they didn't like the beginning of this…
Very-very well said! Just a friendly suggestion from someone who fell in the same trap: don't get involved in a personal (pointless) battle trying to prove your likes and dislikes, or even your education, to those who have no intention to really listen to you in the first place! Just share your opinions so you can help the ones with the same taste to watch a drama or not, and ignore the ones who insult you.
I am positively surprised by a seriously good writing in episode 13. :) I really liked Lee, he was so honest and…
Totally agree! Lee Kang's confession was one of the most honest, heartfelt confessions ever seen in K-drama land! All three main leads were more mature and true to themselves and to each other!
Thanks again for another interesting article of yours! :) You sure know how to pick your fav actors (and mine) !!! "Four Men" is definitely in my plan-to-watch list! I agree with you: Park Hae Jin nailed his role in "Bad Guys", was captivating in "Cheese in the Trap" (even though his screen-time was lessen at the end...), was noticeable in "You Who Came from the Stars", and did a decent job in both "Doctor Stranger" and "Man to Man", despite these dramas' flaw you accurately mentioned. In my opinion, his roles in "Seo Yeong, My Daughter" and "Hot Blood" should have also been included - personally I enjoyed very much both these dramas and his role in them! Thanks again for your effort!
After a few "awkward" episodes, I've started enjoying this drama more and more... I think Yoon Doo Joon, Kim So Hyun and Yoon Park have found their pace and have a great chemistry as a team. Of course there are some annoying characters, but nevertheless it's a warm, funny and easy-going drama. Ha Joon as elegant and a bit mysterious Joon Woo is really growing on me!
It's so realistic, it hurts: all cast members really breath life to their roles!

Love should mean respect and trust, don't you think?
And it's something that we don't see in K-drama land so often...

More representative of his cute smile!
... erased all my disappointments of the last couple of episodes!
I am also a bit nervous about "Four Men" - I really hope it becomes a big hit and Park Hae Jin shines in it!

Too bad, though, because both the actor and his character deserve better!

You know, in every aspect of my life, positive thinking and politeness never failed me!
