omg can we see his war costumes already.. btw what do we think of fu yixiao and xia jingshi's war costumes from…
yeah some color combinations can look a bit dull in low quality reuters, I think the final outcome onscreen will look good tbh.. saw some edited pictures and they looked fire
He really treats them like real people that live inside him
ive done background work for quick cash and experiencing sets (we're called extras), but ive never tried getting into it as a full time working actor, no interest in the spotlight i guess, i just love the art of it.. i love watching i love critiqing and i love the actors that play in them.
for czy yes he's honestly a rare gem. the way he's able to disappear into his characters is something I haven't seen the rest of his peers achieve yet. I hope over exposure doesn't take that away from him
He really treats them like real people that live inside him
oh okay. so some actors do method acting while some others don't. method acting is basically staying in character literally the whole filming period even after they say cut. like even when you go back home you're still in character, some actors do this to deliver spectacular performances especially for biopics(movies about real life people) an example of a method actor is Daniel day Lewis.. Meanwhile non method actors only stay in character while the cameras are on, once director says cut, they snap back into themselves immediately like czy.. notice how he starts playing around in between scenes. Some actors say they prefer method acting because constantly switching between their character and real life breaks their focus, while some others can still deliver strong performances regardless.
I don't know if c-ent practice this, I think because most of their dramas are so light hearted or not too heavy, they don't need to method act.
Anyway, so the reason I brought this up is basically because for czy, its almost like he falls in between both categories. he's not a method actor because he switches out of character immediately they cut, yet he still lives through his characters in his everyday life. dressing like the character, eating like the character, feeling for the character etc.. like a method actor.. that's why I said his process is fascinating😊

omg can we see his war costumes already.. btw what do we think of fu yixiao and xia jingshi's war costumes from reuters?? I personally love the red detail i think it's sharp.. also im guessing since susha is a different kingdom, Feng Suige's army will maybe have a different color detail as well
He really treats them like real people that live inside him
it's so fascinating how different actors have their different techniques. czy doesn't seem to be a method actor yet he still somehow lives through his characters. I love his process
we can't do anything other than waiting😭 *helpless*🥺
lol I know you wrote that with tears in your eyes, satisfying indeed but immensely heartbreaking.. also not just him but songran as well? personally I hope czy&lj's chemistry is 1000 percent so that ending hits c-audience hard
we can't do anything other than waiting😭 *helpless*🥺
lmaooo you should have seen my face when I read that paragraph of what happened to him in the epilogue (his son's anniversary excerpt?) like my heart dropped!! but in the most thrilling wayyyy and I was like you know what... exactly exactlyy this is the ending a plot like this deserves. love you my beautiful azan but any other ending wouldn't make much sense
we can't do anything other than waiting😭 *helpless*🥺
finally finished the novel and waiting impatiently too. Hopefully they don't change too much or cut too much for censorship. also yessss iqiyi give me that tragic ending!!😭
I am not quite sure what happened about the Jeremy case. For CZY's situation, I haven't seen him feeling depressed…
I don't think I implied he was depressed about a role or referenced his acting capabilities in any part of my post, was pointing out similarities I picked up on between both agencies (him not filming anything for months and then clarifying on random tour that he indeed gets very restless when he hasnt filmed in months but he didnt want to film a project hes not interested in).
I basically made my own speculations here that maybe he's being left with no choice but to accept projects hes not interested because all other offers are being sabotaged. (if not intentionally sabotaged they still basically ruined future opportunities for him with how uselessly they handled those controversies and put a dent on his reputation.) Again this is me just blindly making assumptions based off observations and how incompetent his agency has been. who knows what really happened. my grievance is with gramarie not czy.
This is may be the main reason why the hater keeps coming here.Otherwise, why do they care, if they don't like…
i think that loser's beef with him must be a lot more deeprooted than a mere ranking chat tbh.. moving up a few spots on mdl ranking cant be their trigger to be so unrelentlessly vile, only fandom I can think of that vile towards him would be fans of his costar from sf4. has to be one of them
I know this is a sensitive topic but i just read up on what happened with Jeremy tsui and his company and it truly scared me. With how gramarie/iqiyi has been managing czy's career so uselessly, what if czy is in a similar situation.
jeremy tsui's company used to sabotage projects he already agreed to do just so he'll have no choice but to accept the ones they wanted him to do. which sounds eerily similar to czy saying on random tour ep 4, that he wasnt interested in a particular role/script which was why he hadnt filmed in over 4 months at the time. I am still hoping he did not mean Fated Hearts.
we know iqiyi owns around ?90 percent of gramarie (please correct me if I'm wrong i saw this percentage on x), what if gramarie/iqiyi intentionally sabotaged that tencent drama with db to make sure he remains only on the iqiyi platform. probably sabotaged other offers with other platforms too that we dont even know of. with the success of hl last year and 2 potential upcoming good dramas at iqiyi, maybe they were scared he was about to really blow up and if he got a hit with tencent, tencent will successfully poach him from iqiyi.
I'm saying this because to this day, I do not understand what happened with love on the turquoise land or why gramarie handled the pr situation so bad not even releasing a single statement and letting him be heavily trashed by cnets for a 2nd time with yet another billing controversy, terribly ruining his reputation. maybe they figured better for his career to be ruined than leave them? these are all my speculations ofcourse, but that situation was just very weird. not to mention the very blatant refusal to open an instagram or secure high brands that increase his image worth/brand value.
personally I just really hope this is not the case because just imagine the mental exhaustion on him.
i just watched episode 6. the car ride seperation i mentioned was in ep 6 apparently, not 7. i thought that was a preview for 7. and it seems they were only seperated for the car ride
