I've just rewatched AMA a few days ago so seeing Xu Kai's acting here as Xue Ying impressed me! I've only watched the first ep and the improvement is so visible. Xu Kai is very hard working and it's so nice to see the results! 🥰

As for the drama itself it's surprising as well since it brought a lot of nostalgia to me. I've watched countless of wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan since young and to see these kind of effects, especially the introduction of their special moves/powers, I find it nice. The lionhead character doesn't throw me off at all as well. Gulinazha is so pretty too that what the budget lacks they make up for the leads' visuals and acting.

I'm definitely looking forward to watching the rest of the drama. 🥰

Edit: I hope this does very well in China seeing as it resembles older wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan productions.
