one of sokp's charms is their unconventional love story. it's pure tough love. xw's mind was fcked since childhood due to his traumatic experiences and was under lord pingnan's control for decades. who would teach him how to be gentle and loving to a woman? jxn recognizes this since she even said she'll teach him how to properly love someone. this is why they're perfect for each other imo. xw allows her to be herself and prioritizes her above all else when all her life she was fighting for her own place and jxn understands xw's struggles beyond his almost perfect image in front of others. they know each other's weaknesses and are willing to be each other's support system. they wanna heal together.
