tbh I am looking to find similar dramas too, you can watch Circle: Two worlds connected, there is no romance at all, I won't say it has a similar law/crime genre like the other two but it still has plot twists in each episode! its science-fiction. and yeo jin goo from beyond evil is one of the main leads. and the second one I found is Confession, though I haven't watched it yet so I can't guarantee anything :D

there could be only two reasons, 1- CGI, Tencent wants to make this a really big hit since they have put a high budget in this. 2- since they want to make it huge they gonna drop it when no other drama is airing, this way it won't clash with other dramas. that's it, no rumors included.
