uh yeah, I got to know bout this drama in feb 2020, the time when this didn't even had an official google page 💀, but now that I really see people coming into this SOO much that I myself want to socialize once again! otherwise all the comments I did under this last year were ignored so badly :(

ive no problem when he protects him from actual bad people, but when it comes to bully qi rong or feng xin or mu qing...I really don't like that :3

it'll sound weird but hua cheng is so overprotective of his gege that it itched me :3,,, some scenes in the novel where hua cheng will jokingly or idk if intentional bully qi rong and I hated that a lot, but I still read the novel cuz ofc hualian chemistry and the plot was chef's kiss, but that were words in the novel, in the donghua you see the characters moving and speaking through a voice, and hua cheng protecting xie lian again--ofc I wouldn't like it. But later on I read the manhua and really liked it so I hope I face no problems while watching the drama ;-;

hmm I never came across something like this so I can't understand you completely, but one thing I would like to say is donghua and live action are two different things, yes there are many people who can't get over the once 2d characters they saw getting an irl face, but since you feel that you can move on by reading the novel then please continue💞 and have fun reading the things un-censored 😂

for reasons like this im trying to learn chinese, I can read basic words and understand little bit of something, I mean being an international fan is struggle :')

idk if I'm weird or something but after I finished reading hob and the donghua dropped, I never really got excited like I didn't wanted to watch it all again--and I didn't wanted to force myself so I only watched 4 eps before I stopped. And yeah the manhua was good tho! can't wait for the drama!
