this was one of the first kdramas i watched in 2020 now I'm revisiting after almost 4 years and ahhh I'm getting all the feels again. loved jcw last romcom samdalri and now watching queen of tears so it's even better rewatching now that I'm more familiar with the cast
glad that's over with. just a little disappointed kang inha didnt get the shit beat out of him before he killed himself but I still laughed at his well deserved fate. wish it was more satisfying. the last two eps were ~mostly an improvement~ since hyewon wasn't as present. i'm glad there was no loveline at the end bc that shit was so lame between either of the female characters. romance does not need to be sprinkled in everything. i still stand by a 6/10 rating. definition of mid. it kinda feels like a generous rating but majority of the actors played their parts well
lee jun young is carrying the show with his psycho act but I love watching that insecure bastard kang inha suffer even more. Episode 11 was actually good despite me fast forwarding some parts. curious to see how this shit show finally ends lmao
God I just love how over the top and ridiculous this is. I missed the insanity- anybody who is still looking for sense in this drama needs to just turn off their brain and just enjoy the messy ride. this is a sequel to one of the most outlandish ridiculous stories to exist in the recent years, you're looking in the wrong place for logic lol

so silly calling jihan and ahjeong the only selfish ones. they're all messy. Of course noone is entitled to dohan's secret or sexuality but when other people are getting dragged around because of it and getting affected, it's SELFISH not to take care of it. and obviously fear is going to make u become selfish and hold back because coming out is scary and difficult for many but he literally just runs and hides while everyone else suffers... being closeted can't excuse you forever. I can't even get mad at the ex bf and I honestly feel what he's doing is validated after getting abandoned like that lol.
"noone forced ahjeong to sign the contract" some of y'all act like the situation is as simple as that. he knew she needed a job and money and he used that to help protect himself and his secret. obviously she could've refused but it was the perfect convincing set up *in theory* plus she'd be helping out her bestie as a bonus. jihan is also selfish but how could you not be when he was ditched by literally everyone so of course he wants to claim what he's worked hard for all his life and gain recognition from his family. the one person who should've been there for him abandoned him too. he's misguided.
Idk. safe to say it's not just messy characters but the writing in general is just awful and all over the place. it's only redeemed by the cast being good at their jobs, but next week is the finale and everything is still going at a poor pace
I wouldn't say I was scared but the atmosphere was definitely chilling and creepy. Excellent acting from the whole cast and Lee dohyun looked so good. loved it!
Though seemingly cliche and predictable i enjoyed the first 2 eps. I hope I continue liking it because I'm not usually fond of kim haneul dramas but I like both male actors a lot especially seung jo. I could barely finish 18 again with haneul- guess we'll see
I want na hyewon to win simply to piss off all her haters lmao and also because that scene where inha choked her pissed me off. need her to get revenge on that piece of shit.
