I've never watched the anime (I tried but the neck shade was bottering me lot) nor read the manga, but I'm very impressed with the series, I did not expect it to be this good.
this was on me right?? i didn't like it in every aspect, not just bcs they didn't end up together lol everything…
Sorry, I forgot a word In my other post. I don't think your opinion itself is childish, I think your (and other comments) attitude towards not liking the series is childish. I respect your opinion because we are all different and not everyone is going to like the same things.
The Heart Killers had an entire American in the cast, the Captain of the Police or whatever and I don't remember…
Leon grew up in Thailand and is working on the industry (he's an idol trainee in Mchoice), so casting him was easy I also think his "whiteness" worked in the series, with Baabin comment on his looks and also his two moms, that could imply he was adopted from overseas or they had a foreign donor, idk. Theres a lot of foreigners in Thailand and actually, I've read a couple novels when there's a foreigner character but in the live action he's pure thai, so I think it ends up being a director's choice. With Gelboys I don't see it as forced, because foreigners exist and mixed people exist (half of gmmtv is mixed with something), and also, him being white is not relevant (till ep 7), like, we don't know what kind of white he is, and he speaks mostly thai too. He's just a teenager that lives in Thailand and happens to be white.
Some of you act like Chian killed someone 😠Also, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I get that this series is not for everyone but saying this is "one of the worst BLs" just because the couple you wanted did not end up together (an that's on you because it was very obvious since ep 5 that '0102' were not getting together) is a bit childish. To me, even if BaabinBua hadn't end up together, I could admit Gelboys is one of the best BL so far.
I loved every episode except the last which seem to be the weakest in terms of narrative coherence and a little…
"Disappointed that after being heavily invested in their emotional development I did not like either coupling at the end because they made no sense. " I have to disagree. This couples made the most sense. And I don't know if it's a translation issue or maybe because I watched all charging_GEL episodes but you could perfectly see the relationships developing, Bua falling for Baabin and vice versa, Chian falling in love with Fou4mod and un falling out of love with Bua. It's all very clear to me so I don't think the ending felt that rushed, I do think Bua gave in a bit fast but not complaining
BAABINBUA AND CHIANFOU4MOD ENDGAME!!I WON!. The first half I thought no one would end up together, but I'm glad they got a good ending. Best series for me for begging to end.
i dont understand why people want fou4modbaabin to happen when fou4mod has done baabin dirty so many times. i…
I don't get it either, the first episodes I could understand but after ep 6,definitely not. I think is pretty obvious Fourmod still loves Chian and Baabin is falling for Bua, getting Fourmod and Baabin together feels forced.
Since last episode I've seen some comments (not just here but other platforms too) on how Baabin is turning into Chian, and with today's charging_GEL I confirm they are more similar than we thought: Baabin has a private Twitter account dedicated to his love for Fou4mod and Chian has a private Instagram account dedicated only to Fou4mod too. They both confessed their love towards Fou4mod in this private accounts instead of telling him directly.
Sorry I can't understand most of your comments. But answering what I can understand: Exactly because most of them are not mentality well (? They are better off alone, and if Fou4mod and Bua are not emotionally stable to be in a relationship, who's Baabin supposed to end up with?. On the other hand, ChianFou4mod and BaabinBua relationships have been developing for most of the series so I don't know if one episode could be enough to change Fou4mod feelings and make him love Baabin, not when is clear he is not over Chian.
"Have we EVER seen Chian in such a moment of self-reflection and distress?" As you said, the part where he confronts Bua, but I would add the scene where he was about to confess but realized it was too late and so the video call last episode.
