It’s so refreshing seeing a Goguryeo era drama being produced especially with a female title role character.
Lol there are many serious Joseon dramas but fusion Joseon dramas are the ones mostly produced. I also prefer serious sageuk dramas to the fusion ones.

Goguryeo period is between 37 BC - 668 AD while the Joseon dynasty was from 1392-1897.
