Your right that is true (his filmography is really top notch) but I found that he writes female characters better after he started working with JSK. It would be interesting to see him write a script completely by himself these days without JSK since she has worked with him since Lady Vengeance. PCW and JSK balance out each other nicely (it can be seen in their films together); a difference can be seen in his writing before he started working with her. I hope she does well for Polaris, writing scripts for dramas is very different from films. JSK’s drama debut Mother (remake of the Japanese drama of the same title) was well written. Maybe Little Women (which had a strong start) was harder for her since it was an ensemble cast.
