Jing Yi’s father is fishy which is why I find Jing Yi also suspicious but I don’t think he’s an evil character obviously.

Jing Yi is pissing me off...it feels like he is betraying Jin Yu and Chu Chu.

Edit: i feel like his father is up to no good which is why it feels like potential betrayal.

Xu Rugui being Chu Chu’s uncle was surprising to find out in episode 16 and wtf the butler + Xu Rugui killed Chu Chu’s mother.

Love seeing Leng Yue and Chu Chu praise each other, it’s cute. I’m glad Leng Yue is also being well written, I like her character too.

That would be gross, I don’t think the writers would do that. But Duke Chang could have something to do with the FL’s mom’s death.

FL’s dead father is potentially Duke Chang (the late emperor’s son) who might be alive?

Edit: I don’t think he is her father due to some reasons but might have something to do with her mother’s death.

When there is no opening intro with the credits in an episode, I can tell it’s going to be more serious.

Can’t believe that the ML attempted to kill the FL and then actually sold her. But at least he saved her from being r*ped although it was his fault for selling her in the first place. No matter how much he hates the king, he shouldn’t treat the FL like this...

He really deserved that slap
