Tbh this drama doesn’t need a male lead. It would be refreshing to see only female leads. Like how the drama Beyond Evil focused on the two male leads. Plus the synopsis:
“The bloody chronicle of two women surrounding a murder case.”
“Han Sohee takes on the role of Mo Eun, a mysterious woman whose identity is unknown in the play. She is a woman everyone is afraid of, but she is a person who reaches out to Yoonsu (Song Hyekyo) and shows a new world”.

It’s amazing how there have been Wuxia films since 1928. I think recent Wuxia dramas can be a hit or miss since there’s many of them coming out each year.
9.0. Are you guys serious?! First of all, this is a total disappointment to all dramas that fall on range of 8.7-10.0…

I remember when this drama first started airing and some ppl were saying how Chinese dramas could never be like this drama and saying how China copies everything….
It is true that this drama has huge Chinese influence especially from Wuxia and xianxia dramas.
And it’s not the first time Hong sisters have been influenced by China (ex. Hwayugi).
Don’t know if it’s still possible, but it would nice seeing epilogue #6 from the novel. Honestly, if IQIYI has any special episodes or clips showing the epilogues, they should just release it after the finale.
I’m interested in watching this drama but want to know:
How is the writing for the FL compared to HDL (Hongsis previous drama)? Does she get good character development / screentime? Does she also get to show her powers / skills?
Yeah in the Japanese version, I feel like Shin Dae Ryuk’s storyline could’ve been handled better. I hope this…
He was in the jdrama adaptation too, he had the same exact type of relationship with the FL that he does in this drama. Although the j-drama showed his traumatic past and how his behavior is greatly impacted by it, I wish they showed him getting help.

I’m disappointed that supposedly strong female characters are just mainly there for romance…
