Tbh although the supporting characters should’ve been developed much more better, I liked how the drama mainly focused on WYW. It’s hard to find dramas where the main focus is on the female lead and her growth. I like how although there was romance, it wasn’t the main focus in WYW’s life. I do wish some of the screentime Minwoo had went to JH instead, I found his sudden change (this doesn’t excuse his ableism towards WYW) + romance with SY unnecessary.
It was ok, it felt like there should've been more episodes, it seems incomplete. There were some scenes that just…
WYW and the ML from Good Doctor are very different from each other. The only thing they have in common is that they are autistic savants. Only one character can’t be representation of all autistic people (I’m sick of autistic characters being compared to each other all the time). I found WYW more relatable than the ML from Good Doctor despite not being a savant genius but I still like both of their characters.
I didn't feel the brother is autistic, just genius level.
Some autistic people are socially awkward but autism in general does not equal being socially awkward. Being autistic means being neurodivergent. Your stereotyping all of us.
I hope there are more autistic main characters in future dramas. Although seeing every autistic character get compared to each other is tiring especially since autism is a spectrum. Going to miss seeing WYW.
If s2 ends up being fully confirmed, I hope another screenwriter is added to work with Moon Ji Won, so the overall writing could potentially be better.
