Pomme doesn’t exist in the j-drama. The SML’s ex / fantome doesn’t appear in the original. The “creepy” guy will be an important character since he’ll have a close relationship w/ On Ma Eum. His backstory is sad and it'll show why he acts the way he does.

Park Eunbin (who plays as WYW) will be singing a cover of “The Blue Night of Jeju Island” by Choi Sung Won as an ost for this drama.

Have you seen the costumes from A Dream of Red Mansions (1987)? They are so stunning and have of a more Chinese opera influence. Also the stunning costumes in Tang Ming Huang (1990).

The costumes for TBW fit the setting but Legend of Shen Li would fit extravagant costumes better especially for the FL who is a demon king. Can’t wait to see Yi Xiao Ya’s work in other dramas.

I hope the same costume design team work on other xianxia dramas too (would’ve love to see the team make costumes for the upcoming ‘The Legend of Shen Li’.)

It’s fine if he’s being called a “green flag” for being sweet and nice person but it’s insulting when he’s praised, by some people, for dating an autistic person (sadly I’ve seen many ppl praise his character for this reason too).

Don’t worry, the show is mainly about her. Although I wish some ppl would stop saying LJH is a “green flag” just bc he’s dating WYW and likes someone who is autistic (saying that is so insulting to us).

Yeah, the only upcoming xianxia drama where the FL is strong from the start is ‘The Legend of Shen Li’.

I liked the FLs in the dramas mentioned above but would like to see more of a variety in xianxia dramas.
