I like this drama but all autistic main characters always being savants or geniuses is harmful for us autistics in general since it means that we aren’t worthy of living unless we contribute something to society. Autistics/neurodivergent ppl have the right to criticize our representations in the media.

Tbh, I like this drama but I agree. I hope there are more autistic main characters (especially written by autistic writers) that are not savants or geniuses in the future, I’m autistic but do not a have a high iq or a genius. I remember seeing an article where an autistic person was bullied by his classmates who were saying why he is not a genius like WYW.

She’s improved 100x since her debut in Dream High. Even in Dream High, she was charming.

Same, if the drama doesn’t follow the novel’s ending there will be a lot of backlash. I’m actually hoping the drama shows the novel’s epilogues and has a better written ending.

Lol for those who think On Ma Eum is too cheerful and positive, you should see how she is in the j-drama version. The writers have actually toned her down here. Although On Ma Eum is very positive and cheerful, she does have a backbone too. You’ll see when she works with Shin Dae Ryuk (rookie webtoon artist; the “creepy” guy who appeared in ep 4).

She is cheerful and naive, many have said that she is too good for the male lead.

Some people may not like the FL’s character (I personally like her character) but if the drama follows the novel, she’ll have great growth as a character. Jiu Lu Fei Xiang’s female lead characters are always different from each other so for those who have seen The Legends or The Blue Whisper, it’ll be the same for this drama.
