not bad! i have only watched three episodes till now and i'm liking it so far. The whole disjointed narrative style doesn't bother me at all as i'm an avid crime/thriller/horror fan and psychological thriller with unreliable narrators is my absolute fav type. Really loved the firework scene in ep 3 with the red and blue and with past and present Jeanette switching back and forth. i'm not guessing too much, i want to be surprised (stuff become predictable if you watch enough even if it's mystery). The story and the acting's good. How about u?

Imagine if DS was like 'yeah I like you' she wouldn't exactly jump in joy at that. The thing is, we haven't seen HJ look smitten with DS yet so her kiss doesn't really feel like a culmination of all her feelings but more like an impulsive thing to do, influenced by the alcohol and the atmosphere. I honestly thought she'd be relieved at DS not pestering her about it. But maybe, she's really conservative and each kiss means a huge deal to her? What I got from DS is that he tried to solve the situation by downplaying the kiss as he knew that it might embarrass HJ, like I kinda get his pov but HJ's reaction is confusing. But like you said maybe she's in denial and believed that DS liked her, so such a casual treatment of the kiss hurts her pride
