I watched the whole show in 2x speed and I still felt like I was wasting time at times. The plot basically ended after ep 5. If only they had dedicated a full episode on Jae On - who he is, his upbringing,his family life, like they did with Ben in Never Have I Ever in S1, I probably would have felt something for his character. Eh well, at least potato boy is spared from whatever this mess his.

I have watched till ep 18, and I'm a little tired of his stubbornness. Ueah Wu Yan was wrong too in the previous episodes, but the amount of allowances she gives Nian Qin is something I'd probably won't do. Like her father said, she has been a pretty happy go lucky girl but that doesn't exempt her from pressure and anxiety. Tbh, his throwing of the phone and breaking the photo case( obviously he didn't aim it) was dangerously close to being a big red flag. No amount of love should make you accept/ endure any kind of physical violence ( reminds me of my traumatic experience )
