I'm on Ep 21 and seriously, FL is ridiculous, unbelievable and unfaithful to the ML...So, they are staying at a hotel, in separate rooms (you will know when you watch the ep) and ML is expecting FL to be fast asleep in her room...but FL dreams of something (spoiler if I tell it) and actually calls another man about it! Like how about call the ML first, your boyfriend! Then if needed, you can call the other man if your boyfriend is ok with it!!! But duh, FL called another man about her dream/nightmare...then agreed to meet him in the middle of the night! What the F**k... If I were the boyfriend of the FL, I would break up with her...right then and there, she is asking me not to trust her!!! (I mean even if the nightmare has something more to do with the other man...but still tell your boyfriend first and foremost, duh)
Update: So I finished the drama...so yeah, ML didn't care if FL spent the "night" with another man... so in real life, is it really like that...this drama sure has lots of loopholes...
I watched this just because I saw the remake, Something about 1%, and this is the original drama where it was based from. I wished I didn't watch it though. It was the old type of drama that everyone actually partnered up and the story was not just about the main leads, the side characters had their own little dramas as well. I actually skipped most parts of it. (Like the bestfriend and the cousin got married too, while in the remake, they hardly got together even at the end...The lawyer and the younger sister also got together... like everyone has been partnered up...)
Sorry to say but the remake was much more streamlined and sticked to the plot of the story, rather than side tracking too much like this original. But I know, this was the old style of making dramas back in 2002-2003.
This drama and the remake are 13 years apart, so you will really see the difference.
I read all the spoilers below while watching, but I still watched it...Well, Gabin is so dumb...she should have picked Inuk because it was a sureball Love...with Chanwoo, she still had to find out...this is where you say, "better safe than sorry". Because look at what happen to her, now she is sorry...she fell for Chanwoo, hook, line and sinker! She should have picked the business owner rather than the tailor....
The participants in this show should make up their minds. Either to stay with their exes or go to a new love. This is beginning to look like “Change Days”… it feels like the ex-couples still feel they are in a relationship. And the dates they have with the new people are useless. Its just a never ending cycle… (but then again, that is the purpose of the show right… to entertain us and for something to happen, haha)… All the ships that we imagined, are all sinking now. Yeah, just go back to your exes everyone… make it like “Change Days”… hahaha
I loved this show! Just too long episodes sometimes and too long anticipation moments...It could have been shortened. And I like that all the 3 couples who matched in Cancun ended up together in the final decision. But in real life, Ricky and Harim parted ways (as I have read on an article that was shared on the comments below). That is so sad bec Harim was so lucky to have Ricky. I also personally admire Ricky, looks and attitude both.
I was going to give it a shot but just saw your comment. Up till now is it really worth it?
Yes its worth it. Gave me a few giddy feeling too that I finished it. I am currently on my dating reality show phase. For reference, I am now watching Love After Divorce 4 in netflix. Enjoying it. I also started EXchange s3. In case it will be of any help.
DaHye, HyeWon, DongJin, HyiHyun --> Want to get to know to another person, but are bothered by everything their…
Can you recommend me other dating shows? So far, I have seen Single's Inferno and Change Days. Then I jumped to this EXchange series. I am now enjoying this S3 of EXchange.
I am just in the middle of this, I'm on ep 8. Seriously, all the 4 couples should just break up. That is the solution to all of them. All of them are insisting the other person is so different from them. So just break up you guys.
Then when they are on a date with the others, they act like Singles Inferno in Paradise dates...hahaha... Well, I guess they need a break and a friend to talk to...you know...and this show is an excuse to experience attention from the opposite sex, that is not their partner...well you know, because when you are in a relationship, it feels like, "It's now or never" kinda feeling...I get it...
So yeah, this show is sneaky and tricky (like you are cheating on your partner but its "legal" because its for a tv show)...I like it...
There is no couple I would save...and as for the overlapping couples, none too...because they are just there to have a "breath of fresh air" away from their partners...thus, if I were them, just sit back, relax and enjoy their dates with others...that is just me...
Its a good enough drama...until the past or the history scenes kicks in...I mean, I know that the history has a lot to do with the curse...but it could have been done differently and shorter...Even for a Cha Eun Woo drama, I would say, skip this...hahaha...
I know that GH (Gwan Hee) is the attention grabber this season, but just let me comment on Yun Ha Bin. I am so GLAD that he got to go to Paradise! I mean, this season, all of the singles were able to go...I mean, it does not matter to me whatever drama goes on, as long as no one gets embarrased by not going to Paradise...
(I am pointing out MinJi from S1 and Se Jong from S2. I understand Minji from S1, not going bec she was put in too late in the show and not able to connect to anyone....but Sejong fr S2, she was there from day 1..so sad for her...)
For me, this season is already a success by seing everyone just having something going on and not left behind...like left behind in Inferno...
It was ended well and has formed 3 couples in the end...pretty successful for a dating show. But somehow, I feel that everything is scripted. Like scripted scripted, like even the ending, its like they are just acting their own final partnerships, the 3 couples...I don't know, I love this show, because it gave me a lot of giddy feels, but just feels like full on acting...sorry but not sorry... I liked the Rio& Dongkyu couple the most...
This drama is nuts. The ML tried so hard to make the FL fall in love with him, then, that is the plot? That he will try to kill her anyway?? Then the ML should have just let the FL get an affair in Ep 1: (when that was what the FL liked to do in ep 1 anyway)...then just let the FL divorce him after she found her true love...(since ML is just a cover up of FL for her not be set up in an arranged marriage....)... I find the ML a hypocrite... sorry but not sorry...
Update: So I finished the drama...so yeah, ML didn't care if FL spent the "night" with another man... so in real life, is it really like that...this drama sure has lots of loopholes...
