So its Friday again and I miss Yumi's Cells 2, knowing it has ended...but anyway, I waited a bit to post this comment.
For the Season 3, not sure if its gonna push thru, but if not, I have an idea that will probably be more sufficient for an ending or shall I say "closure".
Does any of you remember the drama "Someday or One Day", the Taiwanese drama from 2019? They made a "special" episode that they posted many weeks after the drama ended I think, just to satisfy the viewers that indeed the ML and the FL are definitely together and are on the same timeline (if you watched this drama, you know what I mean).
Anyway, after all that has been said and done in Yumi's Cells both season 1 & 2, I think all of Yumi's thoughts and feelings through her cells have been conveyed. All we need is a proper ending, (you know, the marriage and the so called combination of personalities of Babi and Woong all blended into Soon Rook, that is why he is the husband)
So probably just make a "special" like the one I mentioned above, like 20 to 30 mins long or something, and cast a very handsome actor with good chemistry with Yumi to play as Soon Rook....
I am thinking someone like probably (hey I said probably ok) Hwang In Yeop or even Seo Kang Joon or Goong Yoo...you know what I am saying....
I read the reviews here before finishing the drama because I honestly got bored at some point...I do not want to quote which exact ep, just right smack in the middle of it.
Anyway, the last 15 minutes, as many viewers said that was unnecessary, I agree and disagree. I mean, it was unnecessary true. But I think, the producers or director just made it to differentiate between the times that both ML and FL had still their powers to appear "polished" and know what will happen at each time, versus that normal human beings they are without these "superpowers".
Not sure if I got to convey my message. Anyway, the very last scene, the moon thingy appeared again as they were kissing and its possible that the FL got here powers back? Whatever, its an open ending anyways.
But the last scene, where they were kissing in the snow and everything seemed to stop just gives me a "My Love From the Star" vibes...

But thanks for your review, I will stop this now (do not feel bad, I also write reviews for dramas so that people can have a choice whether to continue or not). I am glad there are viewers like you that share what they watched as it is.
Woong is going to appear again, there's a hint to that with the girls playing BowWow time, he finally made it…
I love it! That is good news! I hope I still get to see Woong again this season, even just to show off to Yumi that he became successful, its ok. Woong is a hardworking guy and I am happy for him!
I did not like the ending. I thought FL valued family so much (like she adored her mom, dad and grandmother), then if that is the case, she should have chosen the father of the baby so everything is nice and neat. And baby would not be confused later on. At then end of the day, family is everything. Baby Daddy loves her anyways, and FL did not have chemistry with the husband at all. I don't know, since it was short, shorter than the original Jane the Virgin series, then they should have given the ending of the original anyway, since they fastforwarded everything already, might as well have just wrapped it up as FL and the Baby Daddy together, not some other husband. Disappointing. Sorry but not sorry.
I was enjoying this season,then ep 8 happened...I don't like how Babi is being nervous and feeling something for Da Eun somehow...he is so weak...his feelings are easily swayed and he is paying attention to Da Eun just because she indirectly confessed to him... I miss Woong at these moments...he has unnecessary pride that he later put down too late, but atleast he is loyal to Yumi...remember when Woong easily took Yumi's side infront of Saeyi and when Ruby was acting all cute to Woong, he just brushed it off and stayed focused on Yumi...that is the kind of faithfulness that Yumi deserves...I miss Woong and his way of loving Yumi minus the pride...
I don't know about you guys but I was having a fun time watching Yumi and Babi this season 2, but then at the end of ep 4, Woong appears out of nowhere! That was when I realized I missed Woong and his sweet love...( his style) and I just missed him alot... I cannot wait for Ep 5 till Friday, so I am watching Woong again on Season 1!
Just an INITIAL reaction: feels like Crash Landing On You meets Youth of May...because of the SoKor FL and the NoKor ML and then the 80's set up plus political something background of the plot...Nice, nice...I am liking it...FL and ML has absolute chemistry...no doubt...will continue watching this...
Hmmm, where do I begin to express my feedback on this drama...I would say superb, but personally, it gave me alot of anxiety, like I was Hyun Soo in the drama...the ending OST, that instrumental thing is stuck in my head now, its like a haunting song for me...anyway, on to the drama...it had superb acting, excellent plot, but its scary and give me anxiety...imagine, you are innocent and no matter how great your lawyer is, if the real culprit was not found, you will still be convicted of the crime...like, that is too much...so unless Shin Joong Han found the real killer, Hyun Soo is the perfect scapegoat to blame without any motive to kill the victim...that is insane...but yeah, Hyun Soo is also to blame in a way...like, why oh why, did you not call the cops the moment you saw a dead person...so you can become a witness, not a suspect...ahhh...I don't know, no use blaming Hyun Soo, that was his initial reaction as a student that was shocked at the situation and knowing that he stole his father's taxi for a night out with friends but turned out to a one night stand with a random girl...that dies by the way...ahhh...then his life in prison was literally hell...like now Hyun soo is a free man, like totally free...is he going to be the same person? I doubt it...he is forever altered and traumatized by the circumstances that surrounded him for 4 months (roughly) and I feel he does not know how to put his life back together anymore...such a pity...you are innocent but you are almost convicted...what a shame....
Meh, this drama is too overrated. The plot was messy and the story was not that goof. despite being a 12 episode…
I almost did not want to watch ep 11-12, but I did because I have too many dropped dramas already and I just want this over and done with. It was such a waste of ML and FL and their chemistry. Like, the story so much more room to improve. Its like the producers or director wants it to be a Walking Dead style, but not walking dead style story, you know what I mean...like, they wanted a zombie drama but they wanted to reinvent the wheel...like, that was a flop... the apartment arc of the plot was boring as hell...like, so Sae Bom had the anti bodies, so get it from her already...I mean, what was the plot again? and what were they fighting for? I almost got lost in the chaos of the apartment-mates issues...this drama was a drag...at first, I was just holding on for the chemistry of the main leads, I said, it may improve as time goes by...well it did...but not until you had to suck up all those unnecessary scenes...what a waste of time...sorry but not sorry to those who liked this drama...just warning those who might wanna watch it...

Great actor, great cast, great plot, great cinematography...It felt as if I am the ML and asking myself, what could I have done and felt at the same time the scenes are happening to him... probably much worse, could have peed myself or shit myself from anxiety and fear of what is to happen to me even if I know I did not kill the victim...
Episode 1, I could hardly finish...I started a week ago then I stopped in the middle of it because I was feeling his anxiety and nervousness that he might be a suspect for the crime that he did not commit, because he has some issues like he just stole his father's taxi and got into trouble...but yeah, the course of action could have been, call the police, any dead body you see right...but I do not know if I am a college student and just do not want trouble, I could have done the same thing as the ML. I just do not want trouble...
I just continued with Ep 1 this week, then it went to binge from the time that he was already at the police station....but it does not guarantee that there is no anxiety level on the fact that might be convicted as a murderer for the rest of his life for a crime he did not commit.
So I fully understand the crying like a baby at the very end of Ep 4, because we are talking about his life here...like, why would he confess to crime he did not commit...I probably would do the same if I was innocent, but much worse...probably peeing or whatnot all over the place...this drama made me feel that....very nicely acted and portrayed...it makes you feel you are inside the drama....
