It's actually hilarious just how little screentime the side characters are getting. We legit know nothing about…
Totally agree, it might be more watchable if we seen some more of the support cast, especially Aou & Boom. I don't even know why Arm WC is on the opening titles, he's had about 2 lines of script so far and we are on episode 7!
One of the first dramas I've watched with no sponsors, no Suzuki Swift (Power you up) no Ouishi drink, no canon printers, etc. I wonder why, as this drama is so big!
the best thing about this series that everyone has a balanced screen time, they are main leads and no supporting…
Yes exactly this. I kinda hoped The Jungle would be in a similar format, but a lot of their main cast have just sat in the background for weeks, at least Only Friends has a decent balance for all it's main characters and gives us a mix of them all both together and as ships rather than focus on one characters story every week
I think I wanted to watch this because I liked the preview and the initial plot, but tbh I keep skipping almost…
Same, I find myself picking my phone up for distraction as its the same scenes over and over just in different locations, the Joke character being far too full on and the Zo character being all shy, OK let's move on from that and up this game, it's getting dull
This show is very slow and repetitive, how many times does Joke have to jump into every part of Zo's life, stalker much. Too light and fluffy. But I'll give JoongDunk credit, I'm finding them much better in acting and more bearable I this than any other drama I've watched with them in, just a shame the script is so dull, weak and the same old situation revisited in new settings
This thing is 🔥 first GMMTV show that is a gay themed show instead of a BL. It’s a bold move.
Yeah it's nice to have something bold and real instead of fluffy. Most have a happy ending too, maybe this will be different and actually have some big shocks towards the end, that would be good
Absolutely beautiful drama, one of my favourites of 2024, Krist & Gawin made a very good ship and I hope GMM give them more together next year, kinda happy Mike was replaced in the end by Gawin. Krist's acting just gets better & better. And a lovey OST too played throughout the series, I'm going to miss this!
The cast has admitted that due to their individual schedules (especislly the men), it was very difficult shooting…
In that case, maybe they shouldn't have cast them, or even bothered with the Jungle, if you can't get the 5 main actors together, what's the point, lol. Such a lack of interaction, episode 5 for example, a brief couple of scenes featuring 4 together (blink and you miss it) then the Nanon show for an hour.
Ok, this will be my last post about the show because I'm dropping it after episode 5. The dramatics around the…
Agreed, although I'll stick with it. I would have preferred a mix of stories rather than a chuck of Lee, then he goes into the background for a chunk of Nanon, whilst Jumpol & Luke sit at the back making very few appearances until their chunk by which time Nanon will be in the shadows.
I'd prefer this if the guys were interacting more, at the moment they meet for a couple of scenes on the sofa, but seem to have separate stories going on, we've seen Lee, currently Nanon, hardly seen much of Jumpol, Krist or Luke yet, I thought it was going to be more togetherness rather than separate stories for each with Rendezvous as the occasional connection between each story. Maybe this will change later in the series

I kind of expected The Jungle to have more interaction between it's main characters like this instead of separate stories each week.
Looking forward to more Only Friends!

I must single out Chimon, I think he did such an awesome job portraying Penneung, his acting was always on point.
