I watched Cupid’s kitchen. She was good there but not making much impact to make me following her work. But after completing Prisoner of Beauty, I start searching for Song Zuer other dramas to watch as I knew Liu Yuning would have his exciting upcoming drama with Li Yitong. Her acting and emotional chemistry in POB has surprisingly exceeded my expectation. I believe her adorable baby face expression would make everyone smile, we’ll miss Man Man so much 😊 Any recommendation?

Because of the high rating, I really did try to watch and complete the untamed tho. But perhaps I am just the few people who are struggled to enjoy the untamed 🙏 Hence, I would remember XZ more as Zang Hai for along run as I have finally seen his complex mature character here that can showcase his acting skill and finally caught my attention ☺️

By far, Prisoner of Beauty is best of the best Asian dramas I‘ve watched that has everything in it in a perfect proportion. It’s a massive success come back for adorable Song Zuer in which her fierce yet emotionally gentle chemistry with Liu Yuning was top of the chart and would be a tricky benchmark to beat by other Cdrama in the future . Def 10/10 as it’s exceptionally special!

Despite how talented is Xiao Zhan, none of his previous dramas with him as the lead caught my attention and mostly dropped them in the end. For me this is best of him by far 👍 Enjoying it throughout, though I just hope more for the ending, hence 9.5. And also because I’ve just finished Prisoner of Beauty which’s probably the best c drama I’ve watched by far with everything in it

After finishing LIP, I agree RMP was indeed a prequel 😊

That’s exactly what I felt, but I finished watching both anyway. It might not be the story that was boring, it’s just watching Yang Mi and Gong Jun perhaps was not as interesting as watching Leon Zhang and Liu Shishi. I do like the whole trilogy tho

Normally, the sequel has never been better than the first one. But, Love in Pavilion is def far beyond more interesting than the boring Red Moon pact! Amazing pairing of couples here. Each one has great chemistry and fantastic story to tell. Superb cast and acting! Whatever happens with the ending, it’s enough to give it 9.5. I have a feeling that Sword and beloved would be great as well 🤞

Never previously watched the lead cast as main characters in other dramas. Tho most acting were somehow problematic and stiff, except the mother (Ruan Xi Wen), as the rating, I have given it a go and watching to the end. They’re elements of good in the story that could be praised but perhaps for some reason, it’s still not enough to give me more than 8.5/10 after watching dramas with more experienced cast like Yang Zi and Li Xian, and Bailu and Ou Hao, Jing Tian and Zhang Wanyi and recently Tang Yan and Liu Xueyi. Maybe It’s just me 🙏 But don’t get me wrong, It’s a good drama to watch despite the acting.

Tang Yan acting is maturely growing. For me, this may be the best of Tang Yan costume drama performance I can enjoy after a while as I last watched her in the Legend of Xiao Chuo. Debating the age difference of lead cast…well, I don’t think there’s any oddity about it. Tang Yan do posses more youth and beauty in her 40s and Liu Xue Yi is always an attractive figure. They are beautiful together tho, graceful couple to enjoyably watch until the end. I hope the ending would wrap everything justly, 5 more episodes to go, but enough for me to give 10/10 😊

It’s just really frustration when reading reviews of 1 rating for such a good drama with tremendous cast like this. With such a beautiful production and acting, even if it’s not your liking and maybe not the best original novel interpretation, Si Jin didn’t really deserve rating that low. It is still entertaining drama to watch.

Of course anyone is free to drop any drama anyhow if it’s not their cup of tea . But I don’t think words “simp” and “shitty’ are fit for this drama! It’s rather harsh. You perhaps haven’t watched long enough to judge a good drama with good cast and acting like this. Conversely, so much is going on in this drama to watch enjoyably. I am in England but I do watch C-drama with subtitle more than anything :)

The story and chemistry are def better and better toward the end. Zhang Wan Yi actually can be as adorable as Xu Kai with Jing Tian, I couldn't stop smiling watching them together :)

I just enjoyed watching the first 4 episodes but I just knew that it’d would be good one! Early rating from me “10”

I care less with whatever original plot in the book was as I haven’t read it anyway. It’s still one of a good dramas for me to enjoy watching till the end as just Zhang Wan Yi and JingTian in it, they’ll make this work regardless 😊
