Washington State, pretty close to Canada actually, although I visit California regularly since I have family in San Diego.

Yeah, I like to watch dramas from a variety of countries, especially in times right now where I feel like I'm going through a kdrama slump and none of them interest me. At least I have some jdramas I'm interested in or I'd really be suffering, lol.

Oooh, I wish I could remember, but that was awhile ago. I remember that it was on Viki, the plot sounded cracktastic and that the lead girl was beautiful, but her voice was very annoying. Maybe it was Love Never Dies, although I think my tolerance for annoying voices must have risen as I just checked it out and it doesn't seem as annoying as before.

Hey! Saw your post in the forum and wanted to rec you Kdrama White Christmas. It's not a romance, just a well done, atmospheric psychological thriller in just 8 episodes. Wish I could help with the movie request, but I haven't watched many yet!
Omg, Miura Haruma is soooo good looking in this drama... It's killing me! xd Though I can already predict the…
MTE! I mean, I always knew Miura Haruma was good looking, but when he showed up I was literally like 'Woah!' I'm finding this drama pretty fun. Can't wait for the next ep.
I keep meaning to watch a sageuk, especially since I think it's a genre I can get my mom to watch with me (and thus make her addicted too! *nefarious plan). She likes epic historical Chinese movies with some action. Do you guys think Jumong would be a good place to start with her?
Aaaaahhhh!!! I don't know anything about Black Butler, but it doesn't matter because MIZUSHIMA HIRO! They could make a film where he just sits in front of the camera reading the phone book and I would watch it!
Oh dear... It's Go Mi Nam all over again. Apart from the voyeuristic tendency I think Park Shin Hye gives this…
I agree with you about the helplessness, but I feel that Dok Mi has a stronger sense of awareness than Go Mi Nam that makes her much more interesting. Like she knows her behavior is not the norm, but is still willingly locking her self in her own prison whereas Go Mi Nam was over the top naive and disconnected from reality. I don't know, maybe I just want to delve into this girl's psyche a bit. Lol, but its only been 2 episodes so I don't really know anything.
Ha! So many of these casting choices I find spot on. Mizushima Hiro as Sirius Black and Okada Masaki as Tom Riddle I feel are particularly inspired. And Oguri Shun as Hagrid! Can't stop laughing...
