So Anle has to sit still and hear fake Di Cheng'En issue slander and lies about her family. While the Crownprince tries to ignore the evidence given.What a coward. I wonder, what is in that box, Anle gave the Dowager Empress??? I guess a list with 80.000 names of victims on it.

Where Bai Enyu's child is born

after Tong Tong deliberately burned down her mother's KTV amusement house that her uncle had stolen and lured Lin Zhitao into the burning mess it came out that her mother was not her biological mother. And had tried to get insurance money after her husband dying of cancer had commited suicide. Bai En Yu was called as an emergency as his child was born. Lin Zhitao has her ancient head injury operated and somehow we don't get to see Bai En Yu's wife. Big cliffhanger.

Lin Zhi Tao's and Bai En Yu's past appears

Lin Zhi Tao went away after filing a report against her father. Her little brother was left behind resenting her for leaving him alone. Incidentially he is one of Bai En Yu's friends. The one employing one of his former inmates to give him a means of earning his life. Bai En Yu tries to reconcile Lin Zhi Tao with her brother after having met with his own past, where during a gang fight one of his friends had been killed. We also learn that Bai En Yu and his wife are childhood friends and have known each other for many many years. And have gone through much already.

Gang fights of Motobike youngsters reveal the Prosecutors past

We get to see Bai En Yu's foster brother, a lost kid left behind by his parents get drawn into a city kids motobike gang. These take over an out of town covered parking lot. The local youngsters want to fight about predominance of the territory. Which triggers Bai En Yu's past.

A juvenile court section is created

Neither of our two main characters is really happy to be appointed to the juvenile court. Prosecutor goes home to assisst the burrial of her mother and we get a glimpse of her own past as a beaten and abused child of poor parents. One seemingly reformed criminal gets home. And looks as if all the work of Bai En Yu and all his trust had been for nothing. Eery vibes as if he came from a cery very bad background. Gripping.

Being presented to the second personality

We witness what happens to the 3 juvenile perpetrators. One seems to be the odd one out, more enclined to be honest. The other one is a kind of died in the wool bully, who loves to pick fights. Someone presenting themselves (a girl) as a classmate of the crime victim, attaches herself to the victim, pretending to "help" her. Making the grieving mother more and more stark raving mad and trying to convince her that the Prosecutor had been bought by the perpetrator's family. (Why do I get the feeling that this is a very personal vendetta which has nothing to do with the first criminal case?)

How the sweet faced princess turns out...

... to be the evil mastermind behind 30.000 peoples deaths. And one of the worst evildoers in that entire Cdrama land. And we never get to understand WHATFOR!

So it's over now ...

Last episode left me disappointed. Although we got a happy ending of sorts it was.... kind of "meeehh". Han Ye understood, that and how much Di Ziyuan really cared for him. The entire corona around Anle tricked him to do her bidding. But there is a scene missing, where they seem to be at a place with a child with black hair capering behind them...Also: hair black. Then white. Then black again. Huh? Once it has gone white hair only regrows black in Cdrama Land.

Han Ye bring stubborn

"Am blind. As you only loved me for my beauty don't wanna see you."Yeah. Hmpf. Han Ye going Mr. Rochester now. And nobody told him that her hair had gone all white out of grief. He misjudged her. Also: how is it that Mo Shuang can have a man in her retreat and nobody knows or cares?

Angsty ride

So Han Ye died of 3 deaths:poison, arrows and dropping off a cliff. That's a bit much. Lengbei disappeared. Northern Qin got defeated. But where is Lengbei? And where is Han Ye's body?

This episodes is playing "the big Hudini" with spectators:

tadaaaaa... off he is. Killed for justice. And tadaaaa ... oh, no. Not dead in fact. Yeah. Han Ye and An Le united in battle. Oh... yeah... not united anymore. He sends her off with the words that he won't see her anymore.

That episode would have made a greate ending

Episode 31 would have made a great last episode for that drama. A bit unsattisfactory ending. But main leads separating in a calm satisfiying way... that would have been it. With Anning staying in the capital and Lengbei not being an ahole about her.

Don't kill Luo Minxi!

Emperor wants revenge for having had to overturn the case 10 years in the past. Things turn nasty as Lengbei uses people to stirr up trouble in the name of justice for Di Ziyuan and incarcerated Minister of Justice Luo Mingxi. Turns out that the Emperor seems to know the matriarch of the Di family also and hate her just as much as his mother. One wonders, whatfor?

Hateful dowager got her just desserts but left hatred behind.

After having met the matriarch of Di family Dowager Empress has one last haineous talk with her late husbands picture.Than hangs herself. She leaves behind a letter. Obviously she still doesn't regret a thing. In which her son turns berzerk.
