rant away but don't just dismiss the ending and say "this should've happened" or "this wasn't necessary"
not our story to tell, just ours to watch and spread :)

unrealistic? people who love each other growing apart and moving on due to life happening is literally the most realistic thing ever

to all of you guys dismissing the ending and saying what should've happened - its not about what WE want but rather what the WRITER wants to show us

ITS THE WRITER'S STORY AND THEY SHOULD HAVE ALL THE LIBERTY TO CONVEY EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED TO CONVEY

but that was not what they wanted to depict through the show
its not about what WE want but rather what the WRITER wants to show us

people who love each other dearly grow apart - this is life and IT HAPPENS
i'm personally very glad they didn't give us some bs no sense making ending just because the viewers wanted them to be together, instead they showed us a realistic pov
but as usual, this is just MY opinion :)

that being said, i'm going to miss watching them a LOT T-T
easily in my top 5 dramas :')

i kept telling y'all the ending was gonna be realistic and simple and there was no major plot twist coming
the theme of the show was literally how the "times" change everything but the journey remains memorable, and i think the show stuck to it beautifully
i know most of us were wanting a happy ending but i think this ending was more impactful (this is just MY opinion) sometimes a little dose of realism is needed.
i'm happy the writers didn't give us a rushed ending just for the sake of it :'))

and just like that, we've reached the end

they finally realised they won’t be able to cover the entire story and would have to spring the entire thing on the viewers

it doesn’t have to be a better love, hee do could also just be content with her life

and like you said, acc to us there is no reason for them to break up CURRENTLY, we don’t know what’ll happen in the last two eps so i think its better to start theorising after watching the next ep atleast

but that doesn’t mean they should just because WE want, it should make sense according to the storyline
we’ve been shown no reason for them to separate but that’s just CURRENTLY
we still don’t know what’ll happen in the last 2 eps, we should theorise after watching the next ep atleast - so what i want to say is that they should be together but only if it makes sense

for me, the ending isn’t as important as preserving the beauty of the storyline and remembering how i felt while watching each ep
but again, these are just MY reasons, y’all are ofc free to theorise however you want

i think it makes a lot of sense actually
from the start, the theme of the show has been how "the times" change everything and nothing lasts forever, but that doesn't mean it wasn't beautiful
even the song on which the show is based on has the lyrics "i thought it would last forever, our twenty five and twenty one"

so them not ending up together would also make sense
however that's not to say that i don't want them to end up together
these are just my reasons :)
