Jade is not very concerned about the potential danger his little brother is in, like at all, and it is not properly portrayed. His brother was admitted to the hospital after a traumatic event, and by all indications, he could very well be the next victim. Yet the show does not treat this situation with the seriousness it deserves. There is no panic-driven decision-making, no visible guilt or self-blame, and no obsessive protectiveness you would expect from an older brother, especially when they only have each other. Jade is a police captain, trained to recognise patterns and threats, but the emotional urgency just is not there, and it makes the danger feel oddly muted. I loved Episode 4, which handled tension and emotional beats much better, but Episode 5 was disappointing in comparison. At times, the romance also felt awkward and rushed, particularly given the gravity of what is happening around them. The shift in focus made it hard to stay fully immersed in the stakes of the story.
I still miss my MGB Wednesdays so much! The fact that I learned to use Twitter, I mean, X just for JossGawin is.... And I still watch the series whenever I miss them or am stressed about other things. This series is my comfort zone, bad CGI included (except the Eiffel Tower scene, it's still traumatising.). I just love it so much!
I'm not okay with what Van did. Like, at all! If Farm hadn't seen them almost kissing, he would have gone all the way with her, wouldn't he? Van also did not seem to be that sorry for what he nearly did, the way he blamed him for almost cheating on his drunken state. I was soooo rooting for them as much as I was for the main couple. I feel so mad. Farm, my poor child....
I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about this show, things like the CGI, the plot, and more. Honestly, I almost stopped watching after the first episode because of the CGI. But I’m really glad I stuck with it. The leads have amazing chemistry, and their relationship has become such a comfort for me—it’s one of the few things that helps me unwind during stressful weeks.
I’ve rewatched the episodes multiple times, and while I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece, it’s a genuinely enjoyable show. In fact, I find it better than some other series with a higher rating that get praised endlessly.
At the end of the day, everyone has their preferences and opinions. That’s totally valid. But instead of trash-talking a show you didn’t enjoy, on a public platform, maybe try offering constructive criticism instead. It makes a big difference, both for the creators and for fans who found joy in it.
I was reluctant to watch this drama at first, coz of repetitive college romance. But PhumPeem & TanFang made me do it today. I loved it. It's lighthearted. Cute. Sometimes... a little bit cringey too. But what is love without the cringe? In my language, we say 'pranayam allenkilum alpam painkili alle...' So yeah... I loved it. 9.5 outta 10.
I've watched all 3 episodes of this drama. It's just amazing! The cast, the acting, the story, everything. And Gun is too good. I always loved his dramas. Especially Not Me.
