That's the end? That's it?? No bonus or special clip/episode??
Sigh…. Technically a HE but it's so abrupt, I think I missed the "happy" part. Well, whatever…. I was impressed by Ye Xian, I guess I can forgive that absurd ending.
I love our main couple, of course. But for me, Ye Xian surely stole the show. Actually, they could have added some happy moments for the couple, just enough to make me move on from my sadness after Ye Xian's death. But for whatever reason, they ended it just like that. I guess that abrupt ending might be one of the reasons why Ye Xian's character ended up having a strong presence in my mind.
My heart was broken when he died, and I was crying for a good couple of minutes. Poor guy wasn't even built for the battlefield, yet he took the role and actually did a good job. He was a proud person, reckless, edgy, kinda crazy, and even annoying sometimes. Yes, there were moments when I wanted to give him a big slap. But I can't not love him since he's also a loyal person, good at heart, brave, cheeky, and can be adorable at times. Plus, he did the right thing to do instead of going full psycho like that other guy (the real annoying guy). His tragic life really breaks my heart.
I know this heroic ending suits his character better rather than dying slowly by gradually getting weaker and weaker from the illness, but still…. He reminds me of fireworks. It might not be the safest thing, but when it blew up in the sky, the spark was so bright and beautiful it stays in memory even after it's long gone.
I wrote this so I can move on from this feeling of sadness in my heart, despite the so-called happy ending.
Never been this happy to see someone coughing blood 😛😂😂😂 Haha! Serves you right! I love GJZ even more, she stands her ground and doesn't put up with nonsense 🫶
I started this drama without any expectation just for passing time, now on episode 6 and I really enjoy it! It's warm and cozy yet it made me cry at least once per episode 🥹🎯🤍 And oh, I love the sisterhood ❤️
