Penthouse as a drama basically works on karma... Yoonhee killed seolah( even though she wasnt in her right mind) and as a result her daughter died ( even if rona didn't die, the girl literally went through hell and she never deserved that)... Compared to what happened to seolah and rona who never even thought of hurting anyone whatever is happening with seojin is not that huge... When it comes to this drama the moral compass is a waste... People get their karma in the worst way possible either they deserve it or not... The drama shows everything in an extreme manner... Bullying, physical abuse, killing are all wrong but literally everyone are prone to one or the other in this drama... Jenny was a down right bully and she changed only when she herself went through what she made others go through... It's the same for seojin as well... She is going through what she made others(including kids) go through...

i am against domestic violence but seojin slapped yoonchul multiple times when they were married, hit yoonhee multiple times( even cut her throat) and didnt even leave a 15 yr old seolah and bullied another 15 yr old kid (rona) on multiple occasions... she would have continued physically abusing others if she can... now jdt is physically abusing seojin because he can... she used to abuse her power the same way jdt did... i dont think saying she deserves what she is getting is romanticizing domestic violence... for her its basically 'karma is a bitch'... she felt powerful when she was the abuser and abused multiple people multiple times and now its her turn to be on the receiving end...

It's a crime comedy and not a crime thriller... It's never supposed to be super serious and intense... It has its moments of being intense and serious at times like the fiery priest but it's more light than a normal crime thriller like signal or flower of evil... comedy is one of the main genre of the drama... In kdramas corrupt legal bodies backed by a big conglomerate is mostly the base of all crime shows because south korea is run by big conglomerates... It's like how Russia is the big baddy in almost all Hollywood spy thrillers...

Hanseo and the CEO of wusang are fine with people's death as long as they don't have to do it themselves... I guess the CEO of wusang is even more weak hearted than hanseo because he got terrified when junwoo said he hopes more than 12 people die in the next demolition... Before zumba snake came into the picture the CEO of wusang didn't really plan on killing people to complete his plan... He was more than fine with CY giving off money or emotionally manipulating the witness...

Junwoo found out who vin really is and vin is no longer gonna hold himself back, one by one we get to see what all the tenants are capable off, cracks started to show b/w the 4 baddie and the leads found out who the babo is, even the FL is bending her rules to get back at babel and wusang...So much happened in this episode...Also all the 3 threatening scenes were hilarious...
i guess the only indian series i have seen is made in heaven apart from the webseries made by tvf and other youtube channels like tvf... almost all indian series on streaming platforms have the same theme of terrorism, corruption and politics...
