is it just me or the FL look heavily inspired by the FL from the fiery priest... even the way she behaves and makes faces reminds me of lee honey... i havent seen jun yeobin in any other drama so i dont know her acting style or how good she is but from whatever i saw in ep 1 i think she is over the top with her expressions... since the writer of both the shows are same i get the similarities b/w the FLs...
i watched the first episode and i liked it... the only things I found ridiculous are the setting the grape farm on fire and holding the guy at the end with a measuring tape and that too with one hand... that was way too much of nonsensical scenes... also song joongi looked so relaxed while holding an entirely grown guy with just one hand and that too using a tape... its like he was holding a kitten or a puppy with one hand... patrol was spread into the farm using a helicopter and there is no way he just put a lighter just like that and he didnt got himself on fire... he was walking in slow motion...

the king was in love with sobong and not BH and sobong is the merged soul of the real queen and BH.. not just BH... also the king always had feelings for the real queen from the start... thats why he wanted to find reasons not to kill the queen and also wanted to have a normal husband-wife relationship with the queen after finding she is innocent... there is no indication that jang bonghwan without the soul merge with the real queen had any kind of romantic feelings towards the king... even when he went back to the present he was happy that the king survived but wasnt sad that he got his life back... he wanted to go back to his life... he was only proud of what he and the king did against corruption and injustice...

i just finished the tale of noku and realized how grand mr.queen was... it made other sageuks look very average... the wardrobe of everyone, the cinematography, the sets everything looks so lavish and grand...
recently i decided to give a try to dramas that i have dropped and that ended up me finishing this one... the first half is a complete comedy and the second half is intense.... the overall story is decent but i still ended up fast-forwarding a lot esp the romance... is it just me or kim soo hyun dont look that comfortable in kissing scenes? she seems kind of hesitant to do it... i dont have any particular feeling after finishing it... i neither dislike it nor like it... just a drama i watched and will forget it afterward...

Dramas get high points when the positive aspects overshadows the negative aspects... All dramas will have some negative aspects or things that won't go well with some people... Mr.queen's entertainment quotient is way higher than the little flaws it has... So that's why it has high rating... It don't even have stars that has huge fan following who will boost the rating just for their favourites... Also it's a saguek so obviously it will have politics in it but Mr.queen didn't dwell too much into it and maintained its comedy and romance throughout the drama... If they give too much importance to the political aspect then much more people would have lost interest...
MDL comment section is much more critical when it comes to drama than most other sites I have seen...
