One of the main problem with this drama is that they went so deep into EO's mental state and then solved it all by her accepting to be in a relationship with jaewon... Like that's some lazy writing and forced happy ending... To the level they went with her scars and problems she clearly is unfit to have a healthy relationship as she is too emerged in self pity and she clearly has self esteem issues and don't love herself enough... how is she supposed to love someone else when she don't love herself enough? All of these problems she told magically disappeared when jaewon didn't give her attention and she became restless without knowing the meaning of a necklace...
In ep 15 she was like she needs to sort herself out and admitted jaewon isn't her priority which was a right decision but then the next episode everything she told don't hold any importance... She didn't really had any proper character growth even though she was given the most importance out of all the characters... She was indecisive and messed up till the end... How is she supposed to start a relationship when that's not her priority?


I can accept the fact that she likes him but she definitely didn't care for him... She knew what he was going through because of the out of the blue break up and she even witnessed it herself and she went on with her life when the guy said he is dying day by day crying his eyes out, then at the police station to save herself balantly lied and pushed him under the bus without caring for the consequences he will have to face, even after all her lies were out she never took initiative to come clean to him and kept on insulting him to save her face and then kissed him and said she regrets it, then jaewon has to call her multiple times for her to finally open her mouth... then after everything when jaewon finally got his answers and chose to give her what she wanted she got back with him... If she cared for his feelings she could have initiated a conversation with him after she kissed him... She went back at him when she wasn't getting his attention...
I won't talk about yangyang as her wounds were fresh and she didn't had any time to sort out her feelings...
Also it's not just days, she took more than an year and she knew what he was going through for more than an year... There is not a single time when she actually cared for him... that's not how someone who cares for a person acts like...

I am confused about it because he never got angry on BI when BI said he is breaking all ties with his father.. he even said BI can come back home anytime he wants...

Ya... The king's robe looks too big on him whereas he looks hot in that black assassin look and common clothes... His dress when he was in his in-law's house was also good...

Everyone is insecure in some way or the other but not everyone walks all over other people's feelings due to their own personal trouble...
EO is not just insecure, she is emerged in self pity to the level she is completely inconsiderate towards jaewon... Even at the end she went after jaewon only because he wasn't giving her the attention... We cannot deny the possibility that she would have still played hard to get if jaewon was clingy... She for more than an year didn't care about jaewon and didnt come clean when he caught her, didn't even tried to talk it out with him when he begged her to but finally when he did what she want him to do, she became restless... That's a whole different level of playing with someone's feelings and being selfish... it's another thing that jaewon would let her play with his feelings as much as she wants but that doesn't make it fine...

I don't think it's underrated considering its constantly on top 10 in Korea and at times even in top 10 in india which is very rare for korean dramas... Netflix india is dominated by Indian and western shows... Recently it's in top20 Netflix worldwide... it's doing well in kakao where it has 1-2m views on each episode even though it is on paid service...

Jcw might do a cameo if there is a S2 but definitely won't be a supporting cast... The makers have to pay him more than the main characters and his fans won't be happy with him being in the supporting cast...

I think even kjw has an upcoming kdrama... Also after that she might be doing the next season of AC...

I dont know about others but for me personally gender doesn't matter and I call out problematic behaviour regardless of who does it... There are more than enough dramas that I dropped because the MLs were way too rude and problematic... I guess the best example will be well intended love... The ML was a down right psycho and the makers just romanticized his psycho acts and I immediately dropped it... the main reason why I didn't drop lovestruck is because they make it look like they are going to end it like 500 days of summer or are going to address the issues of EO and let her find herself... They just keep playing back and forth and this was on Netflix... Even ep 15 even hinted that these two will make peace with each other and go their separate ways... Since this is a web series I thought it will be different from the usual kdramas...but the story was kind of very typical... if I had an idea that it will end like this from around ep 6 or 7 I would have dropped it... jaewon is also quite frustrating as an ML... he was just like those dumb FLs from early kdramas who go after the MLs and give them as many chances as they wany even if they treat them like shit...

Also just because everything eunoh has done is something MLs have been doing for ages doesn't make it right...

Seems like his queen is not giving him enough attention... Lol
