even though i am one of the few who didnt like BI from the start, i cried when he died... the scene was shot really well and intensely...

one of the main problems with this drama is that it dont have a balance b/w the male and female characters...
all the 3 FLs are messed up and all the 3 guys are way too nice to be real... the typical cliche of kdramas with their unrealistically good male leads... like any girl will be happy to have a jaewon who looks like jcw, is rich, has an amazing house and an SUV but also is understanding to the level he will come after you like a puppy even if you treating him badly like he dont have any self respect... the girl will literally have to put zero effort in the relationship and can even mess up as much as she wants because he is so understanding...

the problems in all the 3 relationships are mostly because the women refuse to communicate properly and expect the guys to understand them through thin air....
it kind of solidifies the cliche stereotype that it's impossible to understand a woman and she wants the exact opposite of what she speaks... a woman's no is a maybe and eventually a yes... it just proves every cliche men has on women...
if there was a balance of at least one relationship being proper this one would have looked realistic... if at least one out of the 3 FLs were level-headed it would have looked realistic...
in the realistic world of lovestruck in the city, women are the only messed up creatures and men are poor beings that are walked all over by the women in their lives... not a single guy states their opinion and calls out on the shit and if they slightly disappoint the woman dumb him right then and there as RY did... it doesnt matter that GJ tried so hard to keep her happy and literally did everything she wants, just one mistake from his part was all she needed to break up with him and she didnt even give him a chance to speak his side of the story and at least let him understand her... how he he supposed to know her mommy issues when she hid that from him? he literally tells every single details of his life to her but she hides most of the things from him...

there are two broken-up couples at the start and 4 of them dont know how to move on... show at least one out of the 4 moving on... its the cliche thing in kdrama...

it had a lot of cliches and unrealistically good or messed up characters... so i never felt that the drama is anywhere close to reality and the makers state and promoted it to be... its literally an old wine in new bottle...

i dont think anyone in the comment section hates on EO... most of them simply want those two to not end up together because of the way the writer stretched it...
if you see the comments on insta or twitter then people justified her actions the same way they justify the MLs actions and most of them drool over the kissing scenes and romantic scenes more than the problematic behavior just like how everyone gave a blind eye to the psycho acts of the ML in well-intended love and drooled over the chemistry and kissing scenes...
the problem is the writer used her past to justify her actions which are not right... the past only gives reason for her behavior and not justify them...

i agree that people are more critical towards the FLs but here i have seen people being irritated with both EO and JW... all the 3 guys in this drama are unrealistically sweet and nice... they will let the women walk all over them and will still keep a smiling face... for a drama that is highly promoted as a realistic one, none of the guys come out as realistic...
i have seen people hating on the FLs of flower of evil and tale of the nine-tailed without any reason when the FL in foe is literally one of the strongest and well-written FLs in kdrama and the FL in totnt was pretty smart and never did any dumb moves... she was helpless most of the times but considering she is a human being surrounded by supernatural creatures its understandable...

its a pretty good drama considering the time it was released...

the ML at the start was the classic rich jerk but they didnt drag his torturing ways for more than 2-3 episodes... the FL wasn't that much of a goody goody two shoes either...
the chemistry was good as well... the mother of the ML wasnt exactly as evil as i thought she will be... even though it had all the typical elements of the early asian dramas they didnt drag it to the point i felt irritated or frustrated with any characters...
the kid is super adorable...

i think in the comment section of lovestruck people who are not liking the way it is going has a problem with both EO and JW and not just EO... most of them simply want these two to go their separate ways...
at first it was only EO but when JW went after her like a love sock puppy even after knowing she lied people started finding him annoying as well...

tell me how you like it till the end... my main problem with the drama is its execution... they made EO and JW irritating to the level that i dont want to see those two together... most of their scenes after a while were very repetitive and that kind of gets on the nerves...

well intended love was crazy on a whole different level... it was a pretty good fluffy rom-com with good chemistry until the huge plot twist happened and i was like wtf... fortunately it has really low rating on mdl...

It's definitely not written well as the writer clearly don't know how much she should high light the flaws of a character esp the main leads...
Fyi lovestruck literally has a dashing rich guy 'simping' over a girl... Since it's in the city he roams around in his black SUV instead of white horse... Lovestruck is literally old wine in new bottle...

I won't say she is irredeemable or a bad person but those two getting back together as if nothing happened is quite hard to digest... Their entire behaviour and relationship looked unhealthy...
They should have gone their separate ways but the happy ending looked forced...

My problem with EO is not that she broke up with him... It's what she did after that... She didn't properly broke up with him but it's okay as her wounds were fresh and she messed up... But the fact that she knew what he was going through for more than a year and stalked him occasionally and witnessed it herself but still chose herself and her feelings over him is the problem... it didn't stop there... When he finally found out she lied even more and faught with him even more instead of coming clean... She clearly knows why he needs answers but she don't care...
There is not a single time she put him or his feelings into consideration... It was all about her till the last episode...
Even after kissing him, she never tried to initiate a conversation and come clean... She talked solely because jaewon kept calling her... She messed up with his mind for way too long... And then suddenly in just one episode she gets enlighten and that too when she decided to back off and give her space... then those two get back together as if nothing happened...

Just reverse the gender and EO will be nothing but a player... I am pretty sure no one will want a girl to go back to a guy who behaved like EO...
Like we say that women aren't supposed to take shit from men just because men cannot handle their personal problems, JW didn't had to take shit from EO only because she is incapable of handling her personal issues...
JW is characterized as a guy who will love a girl no matter what... His characterization is extremely unrealistic... He behaves exactly like how some of the dumb female leads (who were portrayed as naive) behaves... Taking all shit from the guys and forgiving them when they show 2 drops of tears... JW don't even need that... Infact all the 3 guys... None of them state their opinion or were allowed to state it... It's like they will do what the women want to do... Their job was to look after and understand those messed up woman and if one of them makes a mistake due to communication issue dumb him then and there like RY did with GJ or SY did to KJ... Are these guys supposed to boyfriends or puppets? How are they supposed to do what the girls want them to do when these girls don't tell them? When EO finally opened up, JW understood her and kept his distance... If SY talked to KG about her insecurities 3yrs ago he would have understood her... If RY opened up about her mother GJ wouldn't have forced her... It's not like Gj is ashamed of her as a gf... The guy happily introduces her to his family members and has his entire life revolve around her... There isn't any scene where she was being understanding of Gj but she want him to understand her...
Surprisingly all the guys had no personal problems except the women in their life...



Also I have called out both JW and EO's behaviour and not just EO in most of the posts.. the writer were like in one episode let EO be the irritating one and the next JW... It's like they put a balance of both of them for being annoying so that they can be together...

So yong used to be much more lively and mischievous before she ended up being depressed and suicidal...
The king stayed away from the queen solely because she was from the kim clan...

She had aspd and it's stated in the synopsis of the show...

Its pretty obvious that she cannot be pushed to get treatment and the cure is to open up and talk which she started doing with the ML... She is also surrounded by people who is empathetic towards her... She is around people that cares for her...

By the end her symptoms only lessen and she didnt really became a completely new person... She was still rude with others but she no more had reasons to act out like before... The makers kind of fast forwarded everything to wrap it up and didn't give much insight to her disorder but she didn't really became a brighter person... She just stared mingling with people better...

She definitely didn't get treatment but she is with someone who knows about her state and knows how to handle people like her... Also the doctor in the drama said to the FL to come to him when she needs him... By the end she is in a safe environment with people who understands her situation...
she isn't some dangerous psycho who goes around hurting people or killing them that she needs to be locked up in a hospital...

It's paid... I hope kissasian has it..

People wouldn't have been this accepting towards JW or EO if it wasn't for JCW or kjw... i am pretty sure if EO was played by a lesser known actress like won jinah who don't match the fame as JCW then literally everyone would have been hating on her like in melting me softly...
A lot of the problematic behaviour of characters get justified or go unnoticed only because of the actor that plays the character...
