If her friends don't know and jaewon don't know why did she even breakup...
Everything she did was for her own sake and to keep her safe...
Even at the police station, she again lied and put jaewon in the bad light without hesitating...

The makers clearly crossed the line...

She wanted to break up with him when he said he likes her because sh is sunha... She didn't give him his cameras at the airport even though sh knew he forgot to ask her... She clearly wanted to keep those photos...
But she still chose to extend his vacation and play anong with everything he said and led him on only because he made her happy and sh wanted to be happy for 2 months...

If we go by that logic a lot of people mistreat their partners due to childhood trauma or growing up seeing unhealthy relationhsip of their parents... These people might genuinely love their partners but emotionally scare them as well... Should the partner bare with all this and be happy with that person just because he/she have reasons to be like that?
I know of a girl whose entire life got destroyed because the guy she was married to was too obsessive and possessive over her... she also liked him but his behaviour were way too much for her... If we see his background and the way he was brought up we will feel sympathetic towards him and get why he ended up like that.. his entire life revolved around her and their child... but he was clearly too toxic for her and she was emotionally and mentally exhausted... Then one day he committed suicide because of some work problem and that affected her metally and emotional way too deep to the level she hated her parents for getting her married to him and don't care about her own child... She had a 180 degree change in her behaviour and character...



Eunoh might have a past that scared her but that do not justify her indecisiveness and selfishness when it comes to her relationship with jaewon...
Jaewon might have genuinely loved eunoh but that doesn't mean he can get obsessive over a 2 months relationship and torture himself... He clearly is blinded by his own version of their relationship that he refused to see anything else and that's extremely unhealthy... In the police station he cannot even get the hint that the girl clearly is not happy to see him and never wanted to see him... It was clearly written on her face... But he was being too clingy till he saw her ID...

These two ending up together just brush all these unhealthy behaviour under the rug and will make it look like it's okay to deceive and lie or be obsessive as long as there is love and as long as the end result is happily ever after...

If people won't get SLS in startup they won't get SLS in any other drama... This one is the bench mark for SLS...

HIY fans did the same in 18again comment section as well... His character bullied the girl's brother to the level her brother lost his entire confidence and even bad mouthed about the girl... But a bunch of people wanted him to end up with the girl... I was like wtf... i just hope they don't start bashing JCW if annarasumanara happens... That will be digging their own grave... Obsessive JCW fangirls won't spare them...
I personally didn't like both the guys of true beauty( I guess I will be the only one) and found both of them boring... That's why I lost interest in it...

Same... Most of the comments were just pointing out the illogical story they were showing... Even some YouTube channels shared the same opinion as majority of the commets here...

I totally agree on Blair and dan... Blair and chuck were super toxic... I mean he literally sold his underaged gf to his uncle and kind of physically assaulted her when she decided to marry someone else... Like how dare a girl chose someone else over him...
Same with selena and dan... I don't get why selena is the main character and everyone in the show went ga ga over her... Blair is atleast a bitch openly unlike selena who pretends to be good... Also dan literally stalked his way into her life...

I don't think any of her reasons justify her treating jaewon like that esp considering that happened more than an year ago... If she had an ex that emotionally scarred her then she did the same to jaewon which literally make her just like her ex... She also stalks jaewon time to time...

The past has something to do with her not mustering the courage to do something and she regret being the way she is... Maybe something to do with her professional life as she was wearing a formal attire when she landed on yangyang...

I am not saying they should be condemn for life but they both clearly have a very unhealthy relationship... He is too obsessive and a pushover and she claims to love him but is not even ready to raise a finger to help him out of his misery... she is too much of a coward...
Giving them a happily every after is like romanticizing toxic relationships...
He became an alcoholic due to the relationship and she still lies without an ounch of guilt to save herself even at the risk of throwing him under the bus... she didn't care for the fact that jaeown would have been charged with false accusations for her lies...

That model he saw clearly wasn't working for him... Thanks to his cousin who took all the bottles else he would have been dead drunk by the end of the episode... The guy literally has no self esteem... He went at chilling night to get the ring back... That's not romantic behaviour, that's obsessive behaviour... He is not even trying to move on...

Before the lipstick rubbing she mostly saw him as a younger guy who is free with the females he is close to as he grew up with 2 sisters... She even says that to him... She don't seems to be the kind of keep quite if he has been crossing lines way too much... In the staircase scene when she though he was crossing the line she was very stern with him to the level he understood what she meant...

ya... that came off pretty uncomfortable...

he is the youngest at the house with 2 sisters and is from a wealthy family... he is definitely the pampered baby that got everything he wanted... so i get his immaturity in handling things and sense of authority... he thought that impressing the FL and getting to date her is a piece of cake for someone like him...
the FL was fine with him till he rubbed her lipstick and started acting pretty authoritative but i guess by ep 2 and the precap end she is back to being normal with him... she clearly feels comfortable with him when he is behaving properly or else there wouldnt have been gossip about these two... from the conversations in the first episode its also clear that he takes much more liberty with her than normal colleagues and she was even fine with it...

ep 2 was very slow... nothing major happened... they just stretched a lot of scenes by simply showing the leads running or playing games or sitting idle...
since the story is very predictable and cliche they should have gone for a lighter drama instead of trying to make it look like a serious one...
i get it that the ML was being way too authoritative with her when he took her to the boutique and revealed her cheating bf but why did she say he should have kept his mouth shut? anyone who is close to her with a sense of morality would have told her that she is being cheated on... i get he should have chosen a better way to explain it to her instead of jumping on to i like you and showing so much hostility towards her bf but he simply didnt wanted her to be fooled...

this drama could be really interesting and different if they pull 500 days of summer... they both need to reflect on themselves and move on from each other... that will look very realistic as well as explains why they made both the leads so unlikable...
but my hopes are little as there are more chances of a happily ever after than a realistic take on relationships...

i am done with yangyang and it has nothing to do with their acting... i am simply done with their romance in yangyang... there is literally no depth in their 2 month relationship with which the entire drama revolves around...

kjh at times look very young and cute esp in some angle even though most of the times he has a matured look...
even in cloy at times he looked very young...

if GJ has obsession with RY he wouldnt have been so cool with her going on dates with other people... he even gave a thumbs up for one of the guys... they have been friends for about 4-5 yrs before they started dating... so obviously RY dated atleast one guy during that time( since the ex shown in today's episode is from 8 yrs ago)...he wanted to know her and be friends with her first before starting a relationship...
going by the scene were he came to return the gift, they both fought and broke up but then GJ came back to say sorry... it wasnt anything serious or big... a lot of couples break up and make up... they even said that they breakup occasionally and then get back together... it wasnt the first time GJ came to return the gifts... if he never voices his opinion or only says yes to whatever she says, they would never fight and never break up and patch up in b/w... RY eventhough looks innocent she is far from it and she would have gotten bored of GJ if he was a 'yes maam' kind...
GJ seems to be perfectly fine with KG and EO and he seems to like to hang out with them as well... it is never shown that RY forces him to spend time with them...
there is a power imbalance in the relationship and it might come to play at some point of time but they are far from being toxic... they just have the role revered... he is the innocent girlfriend and RY is the dominant boyfriend...

i didnt meant that SY and KG needs to get back together... i simply said they needs more scenes... their scenes are light hearted and funny... they both are interesting characters...

even after knowing she lied to him about everything he still went at night to find that ring in that chilling weather... he is a lost cause and whether the iv happened 3 days ago or after the police station doesnt matter...

he went but he saw his doctor friend and then went out with him... he didnt really get any therapy...

i had high hopes from this drama and i though jcw is finally going to be paired with someone who matches him well ( i personally liked his pairing with kim yoo jung as they both fit into the characters perfectly but they received so much backlash) and i really liked them together in the first 3-4 episode but everything went down the drain with the makers stretching their so called divine love... now i dont even feel like seeing their romantic scenes together...
i like jcw's acting when he is with his cousin and he was really good in the drunken scene were he confronted her... the whining and complaining about eunoh at the start was funny but now he comes off as a pushover and a loser...
but like you, i also find kim ji won's acting quite boring and i felt that in the initial episodes itself... when she is playing sunha it came off unnatural and trying too hard... i dont know if its supposed to be like that since sunha is not her true self... i liked her the best in fight for my way and dots...

thats exactly how i feel... they stretched it way too far... they should have atleast simultaneously showed her past along with the present so that the audience can atleast sympathize with her character...
they also made jaewon way too pathetic as well...
at this point her past scars dont justify her actions towards jaewon...
