It's not at all like wlfkbj... It is good but it's slow... It's one of those rare dramas where the second half is better than the first half... All the leads are struggling to make a career so the first half mostly shows their struggles and failures... It's only in the second half they get a grip on their career and start going forward in life...
Why any of the female lead reasoning doesn't matter? How can anyone judge on Eun Oh character without even listening…
the only thing left to reveal is her reason to change her identity which definitely wont justify the way she treated jaewon... both the reason she gave for ghosting jaewon is simply because she didnt have the courage to come clean and she didnt find the courage for more than an year and even after seeing how much affected jaewon is... emotionally or physically abusing the partner(regardless of the gender) for what happened in one's past is injustice towards the partner and a relationship that negatively affects a person is never good for that person... eunoh gave a blind eye towards jaewon's pain because of her past and emotionally wounded him by leaving him in the dark... jaewon ended up being an alcoholic because of the relationship... they clearly are not good for each other... she is too selfish and he is too obsessive...
for me the gender of the character doesnt matter... i didnt like the male lead of startup because of his whinny self victimizing attitude...

did you even watch the drama? she is a professional cook... the guy who is inside her body was the head chef at the presidential residency which means he is among the top chefs in the entire country... there are eunuch and maids to help them and the queen has 10-15 maids and eunuch... i am not a chef but i can peel and cut potatoes in less than half an hour infact an entire dish can be made in half an hour and my mom can make break fast and lunch in less than an hour for all of us before going to work... in my region the lunch will have atleast 2-3 side dishes along with rice...
also she first served them potato tornado... by the time everyone ends up eating that she will make the rest of the dishes and she has more than enough people to help her...

There is another preview where minho asks for her ID number and she hands over her ID proof which is grabbed by JW and he is shocked to see her real name and he angrily asks her what this is... One police officer takes the ID from JW and Minho asks the police officer what happened? Is she a man? LOL....
the FL is a bit weird at first but her weirdness grows on you... she is weird enough to use the shoes the killer…
1.they kiss around ep 8 or 9.. I don't remember properly but becomes official only 2-3 episodes later.. 2. They do breakup and there is a misunderstanding but it's not like they hate each other after the breakup and misunderstanding... Since you are fine with spoilers I will tell the reason... If you don't want to see it just skip everything inside the bracket
( The ML thinks the FL's father killed his parents when he was a child... As a child he sees her father inside his house and his house gets on fire but he don't hate the FL because of that and don't break up with her.. but later the FL finds it out and breaks up with him as he is trying really hard to not let that affect their relationship... But it's later revealed that her father didn't kill his parents and he is the one that saved the ML from the fire)
3. Very happy ending... They end the story of the villian by second last episode and the last episode is entirely dedicated to the leads and their romantic scenes...
You should give it a try... The villian is good and his suspense is also good... The leads have amazing chemistry and all the supporting cast are likable including the second female lead... Even though she likes the ML she never tries to separate the leads or hates the FL...
This far is obvious to me - FL started the relationship solely to have fun and perhaps as an escape without any…
i agree that any of her reasoning no matter how tragic it was, is irrelevant at this point as she dragged it way too much... jaewon will be having a very low self esteem and self respect if he goes back to her as nothing happened and all her lying and deceiving will get invalid if she gets him back... jcw's acting is really good in this one esp in the scene were he was drunk and though he was dreaming of jaewon...
I never thought any of my favorite actor's drama will be in my worst drama list but this one proved me wrong...…
Lol... But in startup I wasn't that impressed with dalmi so i didn't mind HJP not ending up with her... I just didn't like the way the writer made him so miserable just to make the audience emotional since dodal were incapable of moving the audience...
its not Americanized... its just not in the typical kdrama style... most korean romantic movies( the newer ones)…
Korean movies don't mimick western movies... Seoul is a metropolitan city and young adults all around the world have somewhat same take on relationships... there are adults in Korea who does one night stands, speak openly about their sexual life, go for casual relationships, have live in relationships like any other country... Infact korean movies are more real than kdramas... Showing all this doesn't mean its westernised... It's simply means they don't show things in rose tinted glasses like Kdramas does...
Kakao turned this to pay per view. It really just shot itself in the foot, even the youtube coverage is restricted…
Is this airing on Netflix Korea as well? If so then those who has Netflix will just watch it on netlfix instead of paying for kakao...Any idea how the series is received in Korea?
