the FL is a bit weird at first but her weirdness grows on you... she is weird enough to use the shoes the killer…

They do breakup and there is a misunderstanding but it's not like they hate each other after the breakup and misunderstanding... Since you are fine with spoilers I will tell the reason... As a child he sees her father inside his house and his house gets on fire but he don't hate the FL because of that and don't break up with her.. but later the FL finds it out and breaks up with him as he is trying really hard to not let that affect their relationship... But it's later revealed that her father didn't kill his parents and he is the one that saved the ML from the fire)
3. Very happy ending... They end the story of the villian by second last episode and the last episode is entirely dedicated to the leads and their romantic scenes...
You should give it a try... The villian is good and his suspense is also good... The leads have amazing chemistry and all the supporting cast are likable including the second female lead... Even though she likes the ML she never tries to separate the leads or hates the FL...

i agree that any of her reasoning no matter how tragic it was, is irrelevant at this point as she dragged it way too much... jaewon will be having a very low self esteem and self respect if he goes back to her as nothing happened and all her lying and deceiving will get invalid if she gets him back... jcw's acting is really good in this one esp in the scene were he was drunk and though he was dreaming of jaewon...

Korean movies don't mimick western movies... Seoul is a metropolitan city and young adults all around the world have somewhat same take on relationships... there are adults in Korea who does one night stands, speak openly about their sexual life, go for casual relationships, have live in relationships like any other country... Infact korean movies are more real than kdramas... Showing all this doesn't mean its westernised... It's simply means they don't show things in rose tinted glasses like Kdramas does...

i would have also lose interest if i was only invested in the lead couple... i already stopped rooting for them to be together... i want jaewon to get over her and move on... she aint worth his time anymore... but i am still interesting in the rest of the story and characters and am perfectly fine with the iv format as well... as of now this drama is a solid 8 for me but if they make jaewon end up with eunoh this will become a 7 for me...
i saw the scene were the concubine aims the dummy arrow at the queen but when the queen tries to do it she wouldnt be able to as the chef didnt know how to use a bow and arrow... but in one of the early episodes after the queen woke up from her vegetative state, she was able to play a classical instrument because the real queen could... so the queen should be able to know how to use a bow and arrow as well since the real queen knew how to use it...
