I think JCW's character cannot move on because he never got an answer or a closure to the relationhsip... I don't mind if they meet in the present, clear all misunderstandings and go their seperate ways because that will be realistic... It's hard to reassume a relationship with someone who never fully opened up and then left you in the blue... Even now she knows he is also doing the iv and going by the format she also knows how he feels... She also confessed she knows where he lives and works... If even after one year she don't feel the need to give an explanation to him or come clear to him then I don't really want these two characters to end up together in the present... But I dont mind watching flawed characters and relationhsips as long as it's not too toxic so I don't mind their behaviour...
