I read the webtoon yesterday and I think JCW can pass off as the magician due to his onscreen aura and I remember seeing a pic of him with a similar getup from a photoshoot and his age is also close to the magician... but they will have to cast a teenage actor for the flashback... JCW has a matured look and is not a baby face... I wish they casted Lee jae wook instead of HIY... After reading it I can only imagine him or kim dong hee in that role... They both are also closer to the age of the character... I think Lee do hyun with his sweet home look kind of looks like the character...

its not exactly like a kdrama... its a webseries with every episode being only 30mins each... if you are familiar with korean romantic movies of current times its similar to that and not similar to rom-com kdramas... the overall setting of might be odd when you watch the 1st episode but will get used to it by ep2...

i know marriage b/w cousins still happen in some cultures and religion but i dont know if it happens in korean culture... like in my country in some states cousins are literally extended bros and sis but in some states they can get married... i think muslims get married to their cousins... but i dont think christians do that( am not sure)

the 3 characters had equal footage but the magician was the mysterious character so in the live action his character might be the one that interest the audience the most... maybe thats why the makers went for a bigger star for the magician than casting 3 actors of the same popularity... i read the webtoon yesterday and i am curious to know who will they cast as the FL... i hope they cast someone with strong acting skills and screen presence who wont get overshadowed by the 2 guys... i just hope they dont go for some popular idol-actor and if they do go for someone like kim seojeong... she did well in school 2017 and from whatever clip i saw of uncanny i think she is doing it well there as well...
it kind of had an open ending... she just agreed to go on a dinner with him on a Christmas eve... but ya there is nothing romantic going on b/w the magician and the FL and thats for sure.... the magician seems to like the FL the same way he likes the SML... he just didnt want either of them to scum to the pressure of the society and just want them to live their life on their own terms... i dont think netflix will unwantedly squeeze in romance b/w the magician and FL esp when she keeps calling him ahjussi in the webtoon...
the series is getting better and better by each passing episode... ep 3 was much more fun and had more comedy than ep 2 and 1... the funny batter b/w characters without directly interacting with each other are unique and fun to watch... after today's episode i am really waiting for jcw and rks's characters to interact... the way other characters reacted when park jae won said what happened in the morning was hilarious... he kept on saying he is good at it... lol

So true... Just because JCW is not doing the kind of roles some people want him to do doesn't mean he is making bad choices... He is trying to do something different and more realistic and he wants to do roles like that then it's his choice... Respect it and move on... He don't want to be a healer or a K2 again... He already did those roles... If he is confirmed for the Netflix original then that is also a different kind of role... It's again not gonna be the powerful amazing kdrama male lead... He clearly is trying to widen his acting skills rather than widening his stardom and hallyu status...

It's not like he can have her if he didn't give up on her... She is his cousin and she was always destined to be the queen... His father would have never allowed him to marry her( if marrying cousins was acceptable in those days)
I think SSR is equally responsible for how the twins turned out to be like the rest of the parents are responsible for their kids.. From the initial episodes its pretty obvious that they craved her love but she was never there for them... Seokhoon would have turned out to be a nice guy from the beginning if ssr gave a little bit attention to him... Out of all the kids he is the one who atleast realised what they did was wrong and want to change his ways... He didn't know how to look after his sister on his own and that ended up with his sister being way too much of a brat and arrogant... The twin sister warms up to her when she shows the slightest concern but except for one occasion she was never there for the kids and let them get mentally and physically abused by her psychopath of a husband... Even after finding out what the twins did instead of making them regret their mistake she is taking revenge on them... Dont she have any sort of affection or love for these kids?
This is one thing I don't like about ssr... Except that I support her with everything...

Ya Lee dae wook and Kim dong hee... I forgot their names yesterday... Netflix has pretty good budget... Kingdom was filled with top actors from Korea... Also the character exactly isn't a second lead... There are 3 main characters and the high schoolers get a different perspective of life through the magician... There are 3 leads... It's not like typical kdramas with a main lead and a second lead...

I don't think they will make his face long in the live action drama... They might do something with his makeup or lighting to show the difference... I read the entire webtoon today in an hour or two... It's really good... The ending made me emtional...
