Arthdal chronicles, mr.sunshine etc are rare cases... The camera work and visual effects of cdramas seems way superior to kdramas... I guess the only difference is kdramas export their dramas and has better actors with more international star power whereas cdramas make most of its money from China itself... Kdramas faced a huge loss when china banned korean entertainment... Half of the money spend in kdrama seems to go in paying the top actors...

It did well... It used to air at 10.30 on weekdays on a private channel and maintained a 5-6% rating throughout it's run... that's pretty good rating... Startup which aired at prime time on weekends on the same channel had a slightly lesser ratings...

Then I won't watch it... I don't like this seasonal format and ending with a cliffhanger... It's the reason why I stopped watching American series... God knows when s2 will come...

I will remember school 2017 forever mainly because it didn't had a love triangle even though it had 2 main leads and a female lead... From the poster and some of the initial episodes it looked like there will be a love triangle but thank god the FL and SL stayed as just good friends...
