bullying is shown in almost all fields in kdramas... i think south korea has a high rate of bullying mainly due to the importance of seniority... even in office dramas they show seniors hiting the head of the junior and publicly screaming at them or insulting them... the junior ones bare with it because senior-junior and age difference is a huge part of korean culture...
that bald guy was releasing his frustration on the weak guy only because he knows he can get away with it... when the ML went to hit him he controlled as much as he can because he knows hitting the ML comes with consequences... the ML comes from a rich family and his father is a powerful person...

if she killed her then why did they show joo dae tae remembering him pushing her down? that scene will so useless then...
unlike ssr dreaming csj strangling msa, jdt pushing her down is shown to be from his memory...

i never got why she gets so much hate... she isnt great but she isnt bad either... she is without a doubt better than most idol actresses esp suzy and yoona...
i have only seen her in bride of habaek and rookie historian before this one and in both she wasnt the bad actor...

i watched lucifer a few months ago... i watched an american series after ages... then i watched emily in paris... i dont think i watched anything non-asian after that... i tried watching YOU on netflix but i got bored and dropped it... after watching too many asian dramas i dont feel like watching western dramas...

yes we 3 made this one too long... lol
i am talking about turkish, american and indian shows on the comment section of a drama i didnt even start watching.. lol

this one is low budget...
in both chinese and korean historic dramas women are fully covered...

not ssk, the second female lead who is the director of his agency...
i havent seen any female executives in kdrama wearing shoes with formal outfits except the second fl from search:www but thats mainly because she has to run and beat up people...

ya... that is there... also even though they are all crazy they all come of as regular people...
like it startup they show dalmi being over dramatic in some scenes like banging her head at the bus stop whereas in runon when the FL pours water over her head it dont look dramatic... it comes off as savage...

he didnt use jhj for his plan... he told she was with him on the night the queen fell only to save her... as of now he seems to genuinely like hwajin and thinks she is among the few people he can trust...
he goes out of the palace without anyone knowing while his eunuch thinks he is sleeping inside his chamber...

From 1st episode itself startup gave me typical kdrama feels and I could predict the entire story...
Rumon gives a fresh feel and the story is not predictable... It's shot in a less dramatic way that most kdramas do...

I think they already changed the characterization of the king a lot and except for taking the basic of the story they already changed the entire premises of the story with 2 clans fighting for power

She didn't reciprocate to the kiss because she likes him... She just liked the attention she got in her lowest moment...
She exactly didn't reciprocate.. it's more like she didn't resist as she was not in her right mind...

I like that the SFL wears shoes with her formal outfits... It's so uncomfortable to wear high heels all day...

I like the ML...

He said jhj was with him just to save her and at that time she didn't became his concubine... He has been spending the night with the queen since their marriage and he didn't get to go to jhj till now...

In the Chinese version the king was kind of an asshole... He slept with his brother's wife and even flaunted his relationhsip with her infront of everyone and when he fell in love with the queen he went on to say he only pities her...
He also planned to assassinate the queen just to frame his brother for treason...
In this one he tried to kill the queen to save himself and not for anything else...

He already has 2 movies lined up even before getting out of the military... He is also the main vocalist of exo... so he basically has a successful acting as well as singing career...

I watched both the episodes and liked both of them... I like the aloofness of the ML...

its not just women, there is this costume that younger owns touch the feel of the elders( like parents and grandparents) and get blessing from them... its only followed in the norther part of india...
i guess in historic movies the queen does that to the king as well as he is considered to be equal to god in those days

i watched the first two episodes and really liked it...
all the characters are fun to watch and i am loving the aloofness and weirdness if the ML... some of his reactions to certain situations are funny...
since they didnt show much about the second male lead he didnt seems to have the craziness the other 3 characters have... i think he is the least weird one out of the 4...

overall the drama gave a different and fresh feel and as of now it looks unpredictable...
